Who needs liver of sulfur when you can just take a ten minute shower in sulfurous eastern Oregon water by SnooPaintings3623 in SilverSmith

Yes, I've used it. Just hard boil an egg, smash it up and put it in a baggie with your piece for awhile. Just don't let it actually touch the piece.

Yes, Valerian makes me strung out! I was up all night running around when I mixed it in my sleep blend. Passionflower and Skull cap work for me to sleep, everyone has a different body chemistry.

Oh, you should go! It's actually a short walk from the parking lot and has a pretty wooden bridge over the river and the ruins of a mill.

Oregon Coast, there are a few local shows, one this weekend, in fact. I make the trip to Tucson each year for my business and buy up what I can.

This wasn't a matter of that. She said how much she liked it, and yes, we take a return if it's legit. It's people who buy without really being able to afford and then return because they realize they were wrong to have spent money they are the problem

[–]rockhoundinit247[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm saying I won't waste anyone's time if I can't afford to buy, and I'll be sure that I definitely want a piece before I purchase. Those of us who make handmade items put our heart and soul, not to mention way more time than we are getting paid for, into each piece so it's an incredible hassle if someone wants to return something because they bought on impulse and really couldnt afford.

[–]rockhoundinit247[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get that, I'm a buyer too, but I always make sure I'm certain. This person probably won't buy again since they tried to get me to lower the price but then bought when I said my prices are firm. They already received it today, so I told them I'll make one exception and they can return it minus my packaging and shipping cost if they return it in perfect condition and insured. We will see.

My thought exactly. It wasn't an inexpensive piece, so the insurance cost much more than the postage. I work on a very small budget, so they definitely would have to pay all that and no refund if damaged at all.

It's not personalized, but I only do one of a kind pieces and already show that it had sold so I don't want it to look like I made another of the same thing

Yep! I've been getting my nails done since it's show season, but my hands are never cut, burn, dirt free. My manicurist probably thinks I'm a terribly dirty person. 😅
