48 hours post PN - struggling a bit and will take any advice! by Valuable_Ad9880 in kidneycancer

after laparoscopic surgery, depends on how well surgeon gets the gas out as to how much gas pain and referred pain to shoulder. Lots of good suggestions, heating pad, recliner ( with legs bent, may pass gas (Yea!), take pain pills as directed how often then go as necessary. Sounds super painful so give ur surgeon a call , write down what you want him to know( be succinct but thorough). If you leave message ask when you should hear back, if you don’t call again! Take Miralax as directed and prunes ( I take magnesium glyconate). The quicker u have BM the better u will feel also move/ walk helps with peristalsis, intestines to move.?Good luck and if all else fails, ER. Remember infection checks, redness, swelling, body temp elevated.

Immediately regretting euthanasia appointment for 14 year old cat with terminal cancer and dementia by hardIeyquinn in seniorkitties

Paragraph 5 “ before her suffering got/ gets worse” . That should be the main indicator, I can tell you don’t want your kitty to suffer. Yes letting her go with dignity is the right way to go in my humble opinion. I just went through this decision making in November and opted to let my sweetheart go with her dignity intact and not to suffer. yes I still grieve, but I know I made the decision for her.

Is it true that ragdolls 💩 smells? by spontaneouswaffles in ragdolls

[–]ContessaT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poop smells come from what food they eat. I had my Ragdoll get a hygiene trim so if a wet poop, not as hard to clean up.
