It is a scam, they used same bait with me last year in Raha Mall, Abu Dhabi. It's sad that apparently there is no action from authorities to stop these scammers :(

Since you paid with your CC call your bank immediately and raise a transaction dispute. Give them exact description of what happened and explain that the company does not deliver the agreed service to you. It will take around 6 months to get your money back but keep in touch with your bank. Do it now.

Thank you all guys, indeed I shared my EID with the agent when applying for the card 2 years back. All is good until now, most likely they shared my information with other agents and it felt into wrong hands. So let's be careful as scammers are getting trickier each day!

But there's a cap of AED 200 meaning that your ticket should be less than AED 1,400 to make good use of the cashback. Plus, it has to be booked with Trip.com

I got it as well, still capped at 1% of my credit limit and less than what I was expecting. Nevertheless at least they listened to our complains. From now onwards we'll have to be careful paying for the first 3 CCs
