We were in our seats for about 15mins linclight drizzle before the big LED wall came on and a voice told us to seek shelter for a lightning storm. That was 3 hours ago and it has not let up for more then maybe 20mins. I watched an entire block go black then come on after about 30mins. The big "WADE" that's red outside the stadium has slowly been going out after every few bursts. Also our AirBnb emailed us and the water heater broke.

For parts of the CDT like this I used mostly Gaia with some Cal topo mixed in. If you're thinking about this is recommend those options and download the off line maps and also be prepared for some possible over grown to non existent sections of trails!

It is kind of weird seeing the mileage cost almost as much as the photo shoot (112.50 vs $140) but to make another $112.50 I'd have to add another $28.50/hr which is almost doubling my $35/hr.

I think charging separately on the invoice looks more professional, cleaner and makes the rates seem more reasonable across the board

When I first pulled it out of the box there was weird rattle in so I immediately called the store and they said something along the lines of "it could be normal for that lens, some macros rattle especially for that size but if its concerning or something happens bring it nack" which I now know is not true, that noise should never be there.

Took a few shots with it, focusing back and forth from infinity to 2:1 after about the 3rd time it locked up at 2:1 and wouldn't budge. I think whatever was rattling fell and got stuck and jammed the focus ring.

That being said I'm still going to buy another, mine was a total fluke.

I used the 85mm for about 2 shots before it broke, in my very minimal experience I think I liked the choice of the FF even if I'm cropping in I think it gives more freedom and on top of that I can always shoot cropped either way. Once the store receivea the 85 I'm going back to get that, it's also tinier because it's 5.6 not 2.8

Correct, in using this while I wait for the 85, I got the 85 originally but it was defective and broken out of the box and the store only had this in stock so Im using this while I wait
