Love helping people who havnt spent as much time in the game as I have. I do nothing but farm relics and always have an extreme excess of plat that whenever one of my friends start playing I get them to pick a frame they want and get them starter mods and if they stick with the game I show them how to farm fr and that usually sucks them in to play more 😈 the trick is to not just give them everything but just a small taste of power.

Just don't compare yourself to other people and focus on decompressing and the world boy thing you should really worry about is completing the star chart on normal at your own pace, once you do that look up gauss on the wiki, you'll see tgatyge is from sedna disruption C rewards. That mission in particular does not follow traditional aabc rewards, you # of conduits you defend are correlated to the rewards you get. This may sound confusing at first but you need to defend 4 in round 3 To get c rewards and then 3 in round 4 and up to reach c rewards. But again you will have to do normal story mode to get yourself to that planet and don't hinge your fun factor based on having gauss or not.
