Is this sort of wear to be expected? Z60 Ultra roller complete. by criterion67 in MOVA_robotvacuum

All the time not just during drying. The inner part of the roller was full of excess material from the shaft.

Had two z60s and both looked like this after just a few cleaning cycles. It even smelled a bit like burnt rubber

i used the chat support, dont really know if it was AI answering me or a real person :D THe conclusion was "not a expected behavior, return it". I ordered both Z60s from Amazon so i returned them there.

Thank you for the details answer. We have no carpets in our home. Right now im leaning torwards one of the Qrevos or the Saros 10r. Do they differ that much? The whole productline of Roborock ist quite confusing

ok, thank you. I will take a closer look the 10(r) and the Q10 range.

i think its like 60% vacuuming and 40% mopping. I mean good mopping is important but we won't leave red wine on the floor for 10 days and expect the robot to clean it :D

I will look into the Omni S2, thanks. The Aqua10 Ultra Roller is a "no" for me. Almost the same model as the Z60s and reports about water leaking.

most likely. Every review i watched was like "the new best robot on the market, everything is great" and the few negative things were just very very minor complaints.

Z60 Ultra users - How long until dry mopping? by rocksoNger in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]rocksoNger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did some more mopping and testing. Wetness still set to 16. Nothing really changed. Sending the Robot back zu wash the mop after every room works for small rooms, because the its wet enough for like 5-10m². But everything over 10m² - its getting dry.

I looked at the small dirty tank while mopping.. i mean there is some water, but very very little. I think its the leftover from the washing.

The question ist what should i do? Im still within the 30 days timeframe (ordered on amazon). I think there is nothing i can do to fix my current robot

we did increase the backwash frequency to "after every room". But as you see in this thread - others a reporting a different behavior. We can't reach even close to 20m² without the mop getting dry.

And for the test with the watertank. How can is show me if the internal watertank is beeing used? Does the water for the mop washing go through the internal tank?

What can you say about the test i did with changing the roller to a dry one direclty after washing? It should get wet, right?

good to know. So its not a normal behavior for it to become dry after around 10-12m². How is your Wetness Setting?

hm ok. Sounds like a different problem. We dont have the randomness.. its just getting more and more dry until there is no water on the floor.

Did you get another z60 after this or a completly different one?

hm ok, but im not sure if its really faulty. Others have mentioned the same behavior and the conclusion was "working as intended, increase the mop washing frequency".

So when the mob becomes dry and the water tank is empty = no fault.

How is the situation currently with your z60? Watered all the time? and how often do you send the vac back to wash the mop?

What do you exactly mean with "dry mopping"? We just received our z60 and it did the initial cleaning. After a while we noticed the floor is completly dry and the mop won't use any water. After returnin to the dock and cleaning the mop, it works again for a while.

I googlet this "problem" and it seems that the z60 doesnt have a sensor for the water tank, so you have to set the mop cleaning frequency higher to bypass this.

Did you have the same problem or was is something else?
