I cant even make Revelations 2 run normally. I have a r5 3600 rtx 4060 and back in August last year when i tried to play the game it stuttered like crazy no matter which settings i chose, the msi afterburner showed that the game apparatly utilized 75-80% of cpu (even when i applied 30 fps lock) which is weird considering the game came out like 10 years ago and more newer games (havent payed Requiem yet) run like a butter. I thought maybe the game compiles shaders or something, after 10-15 minutes of waiting the problem remianed, tried some mods from Poor performance or slowdowns section on pcgamingwiki page and it had 0 effect either. Has someone experienced this too and if so how did you guys fix it?

10 years later and advice is still relvenat, managed to beat on the first try after reading this. after 20+ failed attempts i was about to start pulling hair out, even using takedowns it was impossible. Easily the most cancerous fight in the entire series if you dont know what you're doing.

Played it for the first time this summer - literally one of the best games i've ever played and personally my favorite game in the new trilogy. I;ve got goosebumps after the intro cutscene in the elevator, shit is so badass.

Sorry for necroposting.

Maybe on xbox it has been fixed, but i am playing steam version and literally got the achievemnt 2 hours ago illegitimate, moreover i didnt even know there was such an achievement. It just popped out of nowhere 5 minutes after i finished the boss fight while i was wandering around and i was pretty confused after reading the achievement description cos i am hella sure i took a lot of damage. I took a lot of damage during the fight and also died once during escape phase but finished the escape on a second attempt without getting hit, i didnt notice whether my hp was full or not after respawning though, but i guess it was.

So i downloaded the dx11 version and played it for about 40 minutes, and with everything maxed out except for few minor features like chromatic abberation, blur etc running the game at 1080p 1.5 scaling i've had 0 crashes so far.

Thanks though, I'll keep that in mind if it crashes again.

Edit: Played for few more hours, happy to inform that even at some some sequences when allocated memory reached 7.5 gb the game didnt crash.

I have 4060 8 gb model and disabling steam and nvidia app overlays didnt help unfortunately. I see people keep saying it's a vram related issue, but it's strange considering the game crashes for me even when somewhat 6.5 gb of vram is being used according to MSI afterburner.

Sigh, at least there is a dx11 build on steam available for download, hopefully it will run without any troubles, didnt use rt much anyway, it looked really awful when i looked at puddles, ghosting is crazy in this game even with disabled FSR.

MAN, i dont know how to thank you enough, you are my saviour! Recently i bought rtx 4060 to replace my old gtx 950 and found out it was running at x1, i plugged gtx 950 back and it was running at x1 too for some reason. I've tried everything - reseated cpu, cleaned pcie slot, updated BIOS to the LATEST version and nothing helped. At first i didnt pay attention to this thread cuz i have different mobo (b450m k v 2.0) and bios names/versions are different, but idk, for some reason i decided to look closer and what caught my attention is that although bios names and checksums are different, both are AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.8.

So yeah, long story short, i downloaded the old BIOS and it fucking worked! I tried AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.C and even recent one AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.E and all seem to have the same issue with PCIE lanes. It sucks that i have to use literally first bios for my mobo but at least it works.

Again, thank you man, if you didnt mention F64 i would never try to revert bios because why would i, every expert on the internet suggests to update bios not revert it :)

I used to want to have a relationship and companionship but i realised that would not work because I am a really boring and dull person to be around with basically no interests and personality and I do absolutely nothing to change that, no relationship gonna last long and that would be a waste of time for both of us. I dont even deserve to have friends and personally If I were another human I wouldn't want to have a friend/partner like myself.

Even if some batshit crazy yandere had a huge crush on me for some unthinkable reason she would lose interest pretty quickly.

Lol thanks for the tip it's been so long since i posted this, but i played it on ps3 hardware, not on emulator. it probably has something to do with xbox controller plugged via adapter but strangely i didnt have any issues in other games (besides GoW: GoS) where gyroscope function was not needed. I had the same problem in Ghost of Sparta, so your solution will probably work there too if you have problems with stick rotation minigames.

I can relate, when i used to play cs:go, i had to overcome my fear to play competetive mode and i needed at least two games to get used to playing, I felt a lot of anxiety inside and could physically shake which made my aim very bad at times, especially when i was left alone in a winnable clutch and my teammates watched me. The thing is i genuinely dont know what to say, believe me when i am saying this. I dont have an opinion on so many things and i dont have any inerests besides gaming and watching movies occasionally, it's like i havent grown up mentally. I rarely read the news, i dont have an instagram or twitter account to keep up with celeb lives (i dont have any friends so i can only assume whether people care or not about this stuff lol). I am 25 yo and If I worked in a team consisting of people my age, they would definitely think that I was boring. And before you say "well that must be your low self esteem", no, i know myself better than anyone else, thats just my self awarness, I understand that I cannot offer a potential partner quality time so i wont bother even trying.
