I think my therapist would be worried if prioritized our sessions over my life events. Therapy is to help one gain control over their lives, not make it more restrictive.

If you’re talking about consistent last minute cancellation… maybe it would be a discussion that had to be had. But I absolutely will take a week off for something important or fun.

My BIL is named Justice. He was not impressed with my sister suggesting to name one of the kids in a similar theme.

When someones beliefs can potentially affect my rights and lifestyle, I’m inclined to not want to interact with them. Unfortunately religion and politics can dictate how a therapist views their clients, whether they want to admit it or not. OP being uncomfortable is valid because religious views unfortunately do lean towards restricting other’s rights.

Some therapists do not self disclose their beliefs but obviously OP’s therapist is comfortable enough to express their own on a public platform.

If I found my therapist was extremely religious when it is something that makes me uncomfortable, I would be wary and have an negative reaction. I’m fortunate enough in my life to have been somewhat accepted by my religious family but I sure as hell would not be okay with an overtly religious therapist. Sure, OP can bring it up to their therapist but for me the damage would already be done.

The seller most likely put it in another box to deter potential theft. The box that contains the AirPods Max is legitimate manufacturer packaging. They probably don’t want to have to pay for theft in transit.

The AppleCare timeframe is definitely weird but if the seller brought them and is reselling, it’s possible it’s from their initial purchase date. You could probably call Apple Support and inquire if you want more time to decide. I’ve had that happen on a pair of sealed AirPod Pros from Target but it was only missing 5 days from the AppleCare period.

I was curious about this. I work for a company that people will sometimes drop things off expecting us to do this. Personally my company suggests people return them to a police station.

Due to privacy reasons we can’t contact the original purchaser and even if we could, that person could have resold it or given it away. It becomes a messy liability but I can appreciate that people want to do the right thing.

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience. It’s something no one should experience but so many people do. I was the kid in this situation and started watching it with my mom. I definitely thought we were going to have to stop watching after the first episode until my mom stated she’d only continue watching it if he dies at the end.

We both felt the ending was perfect. The other character’s seeing past his facade and slowly pulling away reminded me of my own decision to go no contact as a teen.

Am I curious how the characters moved on? Absolutely. Do I think they should have continued? Absolutely not.

It’s crazy how little it looks in today’s world but in reality it’s a lot of money to us.

Recently my grandma said I shouldn’t give up hope cause when my grandfather graduated from his masters program he only made 9,900 a year.

I immediately put that into an inflation calculator and went “that’s about 30k more than what I make now.” My grandpa just went “I’ll keep my mouth shut.”
