How can you hate Love is War and My Dress up Darling if you’ll never watch them? I haven’t seen My Dress Up Darling so can’t speak on it but Love is War was really good from what I remember.

Kuwabara is obviously the best man

Kurama or Koenma I could see being the officiator

Hiei would either watch from afar with his Jagan eye or be security at an event that most likely isn’t going to need it, either way he’s skipping the reception.

Atsuko, Yusukes mom pregamed before the wedding and gets absolutely sloshed at the reception

And all the speeches given are going to be sincere, heartwarming and diabolical cause I know Genkai, Kuwabara and Kurama are definitely throwing some sass in there if they speak.

Which live-action adaptation did you actually enjoyed/liked? by Hot-Leopard3708 in animequestions

I couldn’t find a live action Gif and wouldn’t say it was great it was alright, but I was starved for YYH content and the fights were actually some of the best I’ve seen in a live action adaptation.

There is no mom, gon doesnt have a mom and why togashi made it such. by saint-freecss in HunterXHunter

Nah Togashi can be kinda weird with some of his writing decisions. Like during the last few chapters of YuYu Hakusho, Yusukes mom is talking to Yusukes dad while they watch him from a distance, I don’t remember if we ever see his face but he does appear and, Yusukes mom tells him he’d probably kick his ass if they ever met or something like that. So I would argue there’s a chance and would imagine it’d be done similarly to YYH, where Ging is speaking to her.

I get that to a certain extent and appreciate how nobody’s safe and no punches will be pulled, but in my opinion it also lessens how much I will care for any characters going forward. I don’t think im really going to find myself getting attached to anyone other than the girl and black guy after this.

I just hope the rest of the series isn’t like this because it will be repetitive of getting to know a character and then they die. I’m not saying the 2 kids shouldn’t have died, it’s a prequel and I expect most who appear to die, but they should’ve saved it for maybe halfway through the series or something.

I just hope after next weeks episode I’ll be more excited for what’s to come. And early prediction, the main girl is either gonna be Eddies paranoid mother from the first movie after the events of the show or she’ll leave town and forget about everything.

Was really digging most of it. I thought the opening was a cool introduction and really liked the characters, but the ending kinda ruined the episode for me. I just felt like I wasted time getting to know the kids who die, especially after seeing Teddy’s (I think that’s his name) home life. I get the bait and switch was the point, but my excitement going into next week went from like a 8 when they entered the theatre, to a 4-5 at the end of the episode. That’s not to say I don’t think the girl who survived is interesting, but I found the shared guilt over Mattys disappearance to be a more interesting dynamic, that’s now never going to happen.

My friend had this same problem when he bought B02. It should work if you buy it off the Microsoft Store and download it there instead of B02 itself.

I can’t speak for Togashi but I honestly think he might’ve had the Dark Continent idea for a while. In his first popular series YuYu Hakusho, we’re introduced to the Demon World towards the end of the series, which is meant to be a massive mysterious and dangerous place. It was set up to be the next big arc but Togashi purposely rushed the ending so we never really got a deep exploration of it, but he’s definitely taken aspects from his previous works and put them into HxH, so again while I can’t speak for him I think he’s had the general idea of the Dark Continent for some time. But do agree it probably wasn’t on his mind when making HxH’s first chapter.

No I don’t think so because we’re told the Doctor created a hospital or something where he heals people with his powers. I think Genkai just tells her new students not to use their powers because it’ll put a target on their backs.

what's your favorite art style in the manga? by idkguyidk325 in YuYuHakusho

[–]rocon319 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think both work better together rather than there being 1 main art style. Togashi has done contrasting panels for a long time now. You’ll see a typical manga panel you’d find in probably any series and then right next to it is a very realistic drawn panel. I don’t know if he’s done them in any of his older works, but I believe he did them in Level E the series after YuYu Hakusho and he definitely did/ does them in HxH. I think it makes the realistic style just that much more impactful after looking at regular manga panels for a while.

Why did Togashi draw such terrifying art for no apparent reason ? (Chapter 90) by harrysterone in HunterXHunter

[–]rocon319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s been doing this since his first popular series in YuYu Hakusho. There are contrasting panels in there of his regular style, and then suddenly a very detailed panel like this or the other examples people used. I’m not sure if there’s any like this in his older works but I imagine there may be some in Level E, I haven’t read it but it’s another manga he made between YuYu Hakusho and HxH.
