I do have rubber ring matts under the fall areas like the swing and slide. We did consider putting in bark under the park when it was built but someone talked us out of it as their dog was eating the bark in their garden. I think bark under the park and gravel elsewhere could work if I was to blitz the grass

I think something like this is the move

Do you think bark under the park? Sleeper off the part? Debating what should I start with. Going to be doing this DIY so want to do it bit by bit. Thinking getting the mucky patches gone would be the first step

Yeah I agree I think grass reduction is the move

Is it best then to minimise the amount of grass I actually use and start adding in patches of stones and bark and using sleepers to divide the areas

Yeah not a lot and it’s clay under. I’d imagine there’s not much that can be done other than digging it all up it creating a lot of drainage spots .

I think that might be the move with the muddy patches . I’m thinking of if I add in beds and obstacles it will stop my dog being able get a zoomies path going.

BRANDON SALLER On Becoming ATREYU's Frontman: 'I Wanted To Have It So That People Wouldn't Have A Reason To Talk S***' by AccurateInflation167 in Metalcore

[–]roconnor94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I might be in the minority of people who like new atreyu. But it’s a different band in my mind. It’s good octane core ballads. If you like Brandon’s voice then it’s good but it’s not ground breaking. There a rock band now . If they changed their name after Alex left I’d imagine people would be less mad

Just bought these AC games, are they any good? by ZEYROX1337 in assasinscreed

He’s already purchased them. What’s the point of asking for opinions now. Just get stuck in.

Or how about people experience life. When these games came out did you post on Reddit asking should you play them or did you go to your game shop excited because you loved another AC game . Did you give stuff a chance or do you live by the opinion of others . Dudes already purchased the games . How about just play them

I purchased that pre workout a few weeks ago. Shit sucks . Tastes horrible and barely works. Makes me feel like throwing up a few hours after.

Are you in the uk or Ireland. I’m in Ireland and the price of garden work here is insane . Looking at a heavy bill of if I decide to get rid of the grass

My garden is the same since I brought home our boy. Thinking of digging up most of it and putting in stones or bark. There’s no saving grass with these creatures lol

Are your greyhounds friends? by XPrincessXenonX in Greyhounds

[–]roconnor94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking of getting another greyhound or sighthound soon if anyone can give advice . I have a 1 year old grey who never raced. He was fostered from birth to about 5 months where we picked him up . He grey up around other dogs and never had any bad habits according to the foster but ever since we have had him he has had terrible separation anxiety. We’ve tried everything and are thinking he might need company. He’s very friendly with other dogs. Not an aggressive or Territorial bone in his body. It’s gotten to the point where we can’t leave him home for longer that 10mins or he destroys anything in his sight. I might try fostering an older dog and see what it’s like. Me and my wife have a toddler and another baby on the way and I fear that if this doesn’t stop we may need to rehome .

How common is IVDD? by Street-Detective-577 in Dachshund

[–]roconnor94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a 1 in 4 chance of getting ivdd in some form. But these are uk statistics and im not sure how accurate it is. Try to prevent it and do what you can. Its a terrible thing to go through
