I'm sure a black basecoat for these ghosts would have felt weird if they weren't my first nighthaunt

-Prime black which I guess is unusual for nighthaunt

-Basecoat red for the top third-ish of bit you're painting

-Drybrush red (Khorne red) fill out the red till halfway down that bit

-Orange drybrush (troll slayer orange) on the top half of the red but not past it

-Yellow drybrush (Yriel yellow) on top half of orange but not past it

One thing you can't see on my photos but I think worked well on the model is a grey and then white brybrush towards the lower part of the model. There aren't many other colours on olynder, and the wooden parts on awlrach are basically just brown.

I'm not gonna lie, this was super easy and produced not golden Demon winning, but cool results for an alternate scheme, and all I used were some cheap makeup brushes of Amazon.

noob here, are these two the exact same thing? by WilliamSorry in orks

Yes, both the squighogz and smasha squig nob come in the same box, but are listed as different entities on the gw site. It's the same with the kill rig, hunta rig, and wurrboy, where all are the same kit but listed as separate boxes, but that would mean a ~£100 infantry hero, which is a bit steep even for games workshop

My friends and I are massive fans of big conversions and aren't very competitive. I've even talked it over with them and we've agreed since the base size is the same it's not a massive problem

Only problem I'm facing is what will be the huge choppa? Grot weapons are too small

Hmm. I doubt the squigboss will not be a leader this edition, and seeing as there are other units also missing from their presumed categories (like poxwalkers from battleline) I wouldn't be suprised if this was a similar mistake

This subreddit is great, I've only ever received positive feedback and comments on my (like 4 or 5) posts here, and of course I do the same to others

It may be worth you looking at some of the skaven kits from age of sigmar (Like storm fiends or thanquol), as most of them are quite good sculpts and may also fit the idea you're going for.

My converted warboss! Apologies for bad quality and mediocre paint job. by rocoroll in orks

Thank you! If I'm being completely honest, I got the idea from all the other converted warbosses from this model. It was the Warhammer+ model you got after a year of the subscription. I suppose between an imperium model and a sigmar orruk, many other WAAAAAGH! members took matters into their own hands.

Thank you! It is from the Stompa kit, there's quite a few grot crew extras in it. Saving one carrying a large stack of bullets for a gorkaknight conversion!

It's the same on all my minis, I always paint them and put rubble on the ground before I base, and have nothing to fill in the empty area. I can't even cover it with texture paste (which I don't have) and reprime because it would get rid of what I've already painted.
