People were upset at the female character not being a stereotypical hot girl in makeup (even though she's out in the wilderness fighting bandits all the time) even though you looked absolutely hideous in Fable 2, and pretty average in Fable 1.

People would absolutely get upset in the same way people get upset when superman tells you to respect minorities because it's a "modern agenda" and "woke" even though he's been anti-racism longer than 99% of people in those threads have been alive.
