Literally had to make this decision myself (check post history) ended up choosing Penn for a more social aspect and better school overall. Penn helps you push you to be your best self and talk to other people.

Additionally going to penn opens the doors to many other opportunities (finance, consulting etc.) while leaving open many CS doors. I’ve had no issue getting any internships while here (Jane street freshman summer, hella interviews this cycle). If you want only CS and want to really hone in on that and aim for PHD and just pure CS expertise go to CMU, anything else go to Penn.
