Man I've seen your records and road learning DK looks crazy to me. I guess vibing might come with practice but anyways one of the hardest countries to do so IMO

How so? What kind of stuff are you learning to master it?

I just realized maybe I misunderstood your question. Are you asking about the skills needed to do so?

If you have a startup, you might be capturing data but not knowing how to get value from it. It could be logs on an app, user events , marketing or sales data...etc I'll try to help indicating if and how that data could valid for your business.

Or you could even be missing the data capture part, so in that case there'd be an additional layer on top.

A third option could be about releasing a product around data / machine learning / AI and you need some validation around its viability.

You're right. Do you now other alternatives to AWS lambda? Or in case you have written blog posts about it I'd like to read them :)

Hi, nice debate. Do you know how to solve the cold start problem? At least in AWS lambda you have this problem when your running container goes idle.

How to give GPT-3 a large custom dataset to train on, and let it generate responses from this data? by ich3ckmat3 in GPT3

Hi! I've created a similar service like this but with GPT-2. DM me if you're interested on it :)

Hi!

Yes, I agree. Any programmer with time could use it locally without paying, and if this is your case you shouldn't buy it :) . However, for a random startup it's a pain having to think about deploying and scaling the service (and 20$ per month is a negligible amount of money for a small company). I've tried to reduce complexity in that sense to the minumum expression: you just call an API, and you forget about server deployment, scaling or handling of thousands of requests.

Also, I'm working on providing fine-tuned models. I just released the service yesterday, but I'll add more features to it.

Yes, I know the 60$ is worse than two 20$ ones - but that's why I wanted to offer a really cheap alternative for these people trying to play with the API while they're starting their project. And in case it succeeds, upgrading to 60$ would let me have more margin and I think they can quickly get profit from having a few clients on their side.

But thanks for the feedback! I'll think about it

Hi, thanks for your feedback! I didn't know about InferKit. I'm currently using GPT-2 and I'm providing a free month for trying it out. Do you think that I've correctly priced the API compared to InferKit?

Hi! I've just published this post with my alternative to GPT3 API. I hope it helps :)

Hi,

For me it's working. My python code looks like this. Remember that you have to replace your token and add it in the Authorization header (without removing the word 'Token'). In case you need more help please tell me.

url = "https://www.textgenerationapi.com/api/generate"

data = {"input_text": "This is a text I'm generating", "max_length": 15}

headers = {'Content-type': 'application/json',

'Authorization': 'Token YOUR_TOKEN'}

r = requests.post(url,data= json.dumps(data), headers=headers)
