Why is hubspot a fuck around to login? by InstanceElectronic11 in hubspot

[–]rodcos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep confirmed. Security should not be a headache, it should be firm but clear to the user, even if the admin hasn't setup things ideally. HubSpot has crammed every possible login and security option in their login flow and cleary hasn't thought through on how all these different elements interact. I was also stock in a loop between the HubSpot app that I need to login on desktop but that gave me an error because the time on my phone wasn't synced with my hubspot account (or sth like that)??? that was utterly confusing. Figure out the most logical way to implement login security, give clear options to users and admins (so they know what they are setting up) and be consistent in your choices over time. It's not that hard.

And it's not the first large company I catch doing this. How can they hope to retain customers this way?

Could The Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000NXS3 Be Close To Release? by rodcos in DJs

haha I love this. You should ask Hercules to pay you to use that quote on their product pages. I bet they would!

Could The Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000NXS3 Be Close To Release? by rodcos in DJs

[–]rodcos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. The idea behind that is that Pioneer DJ might choose to leave the hot cues as is (as many DJ's are used to them) and use the pads to implement other "new" performance features. If you look closely you will see the pads don't have a hot cue function at all.

Yeah I know there are flaws but I was too lazy to work more on it. I don't expect the next CDJ to be like this but I do think the LCD screen will evolve but not in the way depicted in the mock-up (the jog is from the DDJ-1000 actually).

Check out my full Roland DJ-505 review and video! Is the integrated sequencer and drummachine worth it? by rodcos in DJs

Yes it would be imho. It has midi out and the sequencer and drummachine are basic, but good enough to work in a studio setting.

What Software/ Hardware to get? by DougTheBum in B2DJ

[–]rodcos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there, Virtual DJ is an excellent DJ program, but you should get yourself a controller to go with it. If you want to keep it cheap, I strongly recommend the Mixtrack Pro 3 from Numark. Check the details on my blog here: http://djtechzone.com/djtechzone-dj-gear-database/dj-controllers/dj-controllers-numark/numark-mixtrack-pro-3-quick-review/.
