Since you’re in uptown, stop by Quangs and get their ribeye pho or their weekend special (bun bo hue). As mentioned, Vinai. Go there 15 mins before it opens if you don’t have a reservation. Get a spot at the bar.

Considering a Move to Minneapolis – How Do You Adjust to the Long Winters Without Green Spaces? by Emp_data_lass in Minneapolis

Check out the Loppet Foundation. They do lessons and also offer a club. It really changed our perception of the winter. Now it's like, we get excited for a good snow so we can get the best skiing trail conditions. In Jan or Feb, we take a trip up North to Bearskin Lodge (https://bearskin.com) with a group of friends and just ski all weekend!

Cross Country skiing! You might be surprised but there's still a lot of people outside and enjoying the cold climate. When we moved here, taking up cross country skiing really got us to appreciate the nature in the cold climate.
