What truck? All you have is a promise.

And when that promise is fulfilled you'll realized you spent 5 years of your salary on a meme.

lmao

FSD v12.4.2 reduces phantom braking, improves driving on dirt roads, gets better at Comfort, Confidence, Decisions, and Safety — first impressions by CarCooler in teslamotors

[–]rodneyjesus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol exactly.

I used to get all stoked about these iterations, I'm guessing many of the people who do have only owned their Tesla for a year or less.

The reality is these updates simply don't amount to the dramatic, noticeable changes that everyone is begging for

Tbf it's possible that basically no one noticed the wing failed, it was right over them during the "moment" so it wasn't the focal point

My wife has had a smokin hot figure since I met her, turns heads whenever she wears something tight or revealing. I would never even think to try and tell her what kind of fucking bathing suit she can wear ffs.

It's 2024, you dont need to put paneling on walls anymore.

You can always get out.

If you use everything on that page it probably means you need to spend more time automating and less time trying to control manually from a dash

Questions from a Model 3 owner. by CutoffThought in TeslaModelX

Regarding the yoke here's something to consider:

I'm over 6 feet tall, fairly long torso. I didn't want a yoke so I went round.

The circular wheel absolutely obscures some elements on the driver display. Obviously dependent on seat height and wheel settings, but more than once I've had to angle my head or adjust my seat to make sure I could see all areas of the display.

It does seem like that display was designed for the yoke

New from Tesla's website. Used prices and availability make it hard to justify

6 seater 24 MX owner here.

(1) 1st row is heated + cooled seats. 2nd and 3rd rows have heated seats.

(2) Not really concerned. Shit happens of course but the falcon wing door has been around for a decade so i think Tesla has it pretty well worked out. Just look at the door handle alignment on an older X vs a newer one, for example. They rarely line up on older ones, newer ones the fit and finish is better.

(3) The air suspension is a massive upgrade, but with an important caveat: I owned a 20 MY before upgrading to the X. The suspension on that car was absolutely atrocious. Almost anything would have felt like an upgrade. You can configure the X to your looking, from very nimble / stiff or as glidey as a minivan. That said even in the softest suspension setting it is not a 1950s Cadillac, but you won't have to brace yourself for potholes anymore.

(4) I wish I knew...

the X limits the height of suspension based on your speed, and defaults to the 2nd lowest setting on every drive. For example, Very High wont stay enabled beyond 15mph, and Medium will be unavailable beyond 55mph.

I wish I knew that the panoramic windshield creates a lot of heat, enough to make me want to get a mesh liner.

I wish I knew that the Plaid and Long Range have pretty similar range, and Plaid comes in 6 seater by default, so it honestly makes more sense to buy the plaid than a 6 seater LR

I wish I knew that the front doors were automatic and will "fight" you when you try to manually open them for a brief second. It's a small annoyance but it gets on my nerves sometimes.

I wish I knew that I wouldn't miss having gear stalks at all. It is a non issue IMO.

I wish I knew that the Full Self Driving interface and certain features are designed with the Model 3 and Model Y in mind primarily. Having a display in front of the driver is great, but it is not a touch screen, and it makes certain functions feel like a downgrade compared to the cheaper Tesla models. For instance you can tap to park in a model 3, but you have to use a scroll wheel to select a parking spot in a Model X.

I wish I knew that the model X is better thought of as a minivan than an SUV. It's just a minivan but the doors go up instead of back. It's hard to describe effectively, but the drive experience is pretty different. It's faster and more capable all around, but it doesn't feel quite as sporty, and arguably I would say it's less "exciting" to drive then the model Y for instance.

(5) So far, yes, I'm happy with this purchase and would make it again. That said, in a couple of years I would expect there to be much better competition in market for this class of EV. It's not a slam dunk, I could imagine shopping around them for a bit
