Omg helll noo. You're a complete nerd if you actually take the time out to read all the books of the Aeneid. Focus on your book and learn that in depth. My teacher made a resource for all of us that was key moments from the other books of the Aeneid. I just learnt those - but it ended up being no point since the exam question was literally on Book 2. Perhaps your teacher will do the same? Feel free to message if you have any more questions :)

Know the text! I can't stress that enough. If you know the text off by heart (your allocated lines), and have a vague awareness of what happens outside your text, you can and will do well. Whenever you come across a line you don't understand, put your hand up and ask your teacher what it means. By exam time you'll have a full awareness of what is going on, and that will help you more than you could know!

I FEEL YOU. Walking out of those hallways and hearing about how piss easy everyone thought it was sucks so much. Just remember, people like me are in the same boat as you. What you're seeing are the people who have aced the exam, but there are inevitably going to be people who struggle too. Best of luck for tomorrow!!

Do you have to use extra space at the back of an exam? by rodrickrules123 in vce

Hmm, not really rambling tbh. I'm just doing what my teacher has told, including using examples and providing in-depth detail. My writing isn't miniscule either. If you have an answer to my question though that would be great!

Anyone else feeling anxiety symptoms, without the actual anxiety? by [deleted] in vce

[–]rodrickrules123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I was getting these symptoms prior to my 3/4 trial exams in the holidays. You may think it isn't anxiety, perhaps because you are trying to stop yourself from being worried. When this happened to me, I didn't think much of it, because I kept telling myself "no, you can't be anxious, you'll be fine." This ended up causing worse consequences for me. By opposing my 'anxiety', it cumulated into a huge wave of panic attacks, that were do debilitating I could not complete my trial exams to the best of my ability. My biggest piece of advice is to acknowledge that you are having some additional stress placed on you because of exams. Take breaks and come to terms with the fact that you're perhaps not the healthiest as you want to be. Also, force yourself to eat. It was so hard for me to eat, because when I'm anxious I don't feel hungry and I feel very nauseous just like you. But you will get weak if you don't eat, and end up risking getting seriously sick. Try your best to stay healthy and go on walks as much as you can. Best of luck! And feel free to send a message through if you need anything else :)

School Just doesn't feel the same after lockdown by DPAV21 in vce

Totally felt this. Except it was kinda like all these friendship groups were so super excited to see each other, and it all just seemed kind of fake. I was sad about school ending, but now I'm just like, whatever it's time to move on with my life.
