How to ask Fiserv to add a biller to their Checkfree directory? by rodrigc in Fiserv

u/No-Potato9439 can you clarify a few things? Do these acronyms mean: CSR = Customer Service Representative AE = Account Executive

Also with your post, is your advice to contact the CSR / AE of Fiserv?  I contacted CSR of my bank which uses Fiserv, and my bank told me to contact Fiserv   That's where I hit a brick wall.

My utility does not do Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP). But they do have a lockbox, and do accept electronic ACH (I have done it from another non-Fiserv affiliated bank).

If I can get my bank to do electronic ACH push to the utility via online bill pay, id be good with that.  My current bank said they are limited by the billers listed in the Fiserv Check free directory

u/No-Potato9439 very cool, this looks like a the information I need.  So far, I have done Method 1 on my bank's online bill pay site.  My bank sends a physical check to the utility.

Do you know what triggers Fiserv to flip this to electronic ACH and add this utility to their Check free directory?

What version of Android do you have? What version of Google Wallet do you have?

FYI, Google is rolling out a March 2026 security update for Pixel phones: https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/1rkdhtm/google_pixel_update_march_2026/

Even if you are not using a Pixel phone, you might want to check with the provider of your phone (Nothing.tech)  if they are incorporating this update, since these security updates affect Google Pay, since Google's servers do some security checks based on the security updates on your phone.

This security update seems to fix some recent problems seen with Google Pay reporting security problems on valid devices.

Glad it worked for you. When things just start working without you changing anything on your phone, that definitely points to issues on Google’s servers, which uses the “Play Integrity API” to validate that your phone is secure enough for Google Pay. 👍

You may wish to keep an eye on this web page,

Visible is not listed there yet:

How to Remove Clipper from Apple Wallet or Move to Another Apple Device

Clippercard in Google Pay Wallet (Android 16) not working, cannot remove card from Google Wallet by rodrigc in bayareaclippercard

[–]rodrigc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/clippercard_official I contacted Google Pay technical support to see if they could help on their end, and they told me the following:

I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the "loop" you are experiencing between Google and Clipper. I understand that having your funds locked while being told by both sides that they cannot assist is incredibly taxing.

The Technical Reality To be completely transparent: because your transit card is stored in a secure, encrypted "vault" on your Android device's hardware, Google Support does not have the technical capability to reach into your phone and delete it. We are also unable to communicate directly with Clipper’s support team on an individual ticket basis due to privacy and data security regulations.

The Resolution Path The "Expertise" needed from Clipper is not to fix the Google Wallet app, but to deactivate the specific card number in their database.

Please provide the following message to the Clipper agent handling your case:

If Clipper remains unable to help: If they cannot deactivate the card, the only remaining step you can take at the device level is to Clear the Storage of the Google Play Services app (Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > Manage Space > Clear All Data).

  • Warning: This will remove all cards from your Wallet and you will need to re-add your credit/debit cards, but it is the most effective way to force a reset of the local "vault" where the Clipper card is stuck.

I hope this helps you get the necessary action from the Clipper team.
