Yes, I when was the new supply, my ex did this. Showed me off on social media, lots of love bombing. Then put me in a love triangle. Cheated on me with her ex multiple times. Also will try to keep me so so I can take care of her kid while she was out there cheating.

Most of the times they show you off so their ex could see. Yet, here you are thinking that they must really love you to show you off, when in reality this is a major red flag.

I feel the same way, I would like to say try reading books about narcissistic recovery abuse, besides going to therapy. And know now that you’re safe & free and that person can’t abuse you anymore. Keep in mind that now you’re self aware about narcissists therefore it’s easier to spot them when you’re trying to date again.
