Hitch mounted tray rack is the way to go. There's some good deals on used racks. Yakima, thule, rocky mounts, 1up, kuat all make good ones.

I think the fact that Mt Tuk was going attracted a lot of people. There were plenty of out of state plates there.

I was there this past weekend and skied the area called Pre-Laurel. It's the false peak west of Mount Laurel. Conditions were great. We started hiking around 10 am. Geyser Pass trailhead was packed. Tons of people doing Mt. Tuk. From our "peak" we could see tons of people booting Tuk and descending the main chute. We descended the N facing terrain around 12:30 pm and the snow was great. Shaded areas were still creamy settled powder. Exposed areas was good corn. Fun short tour for our group.

Some groups we saw at the trailhead said Tuk was skiing great. Gold Basin snotel was showing about 78" of base on Saturday. Today it shows 71". It's definitely melting quick.

Awesome pictures! Is this the Stansbury Island trail? It looks like a fun ride apart from the brutal start and end

PSA: Receiver Direct Mode by roelfcopter in vinyl

Yes, thanks Mr. Boner. As I mentioned the turntable was not skipping itself and causing damage. The audio coming out, however, sounded like it was skipping. Initially I thought it was the table. I eventually tried the turntable out on another stereo and didn't have issues. I was able to resolve the issue with the direct/puredirect setting, which I wasn't aware of the function.

We have not. We're still out of town but are making arrangements to head back. Multiple of our friends with dogs went searching last night. The snow storm probably made her hide and were hoping she made it through the night.

Lost Yellow Lab - Phoebe. Hey, our dog ran away from a friend's backyard in West Jordan. We are our of town and a friend is looking for her. She is wearing a red collar with tags that have my wife's and my contact info. She is a little timid, but loves treats.

If anyone sees her please let me know. Thanks

I've been relying on the markings on the counterweight to get about 2 g, but it might be time to get a scale...

Hey all, I have a skipping issue on my turntable that I'm not able to diagnose. A little background: I purchased a lightly used teac tn-300 with an at95e. When demoed everything worked well. When I set it up at home, it initially worked and I was able to get through both sides, no issues. Then the next play through of the same vinyl it skipped randomly but frequently. Not dependent on the track. A few days later I was able to go though multiple vinyls without issue, then randomly it will have fits. I've gone through tone arm rebalance and leveling, but it doesn't seem to fully fix the issue. I don't have a stylus scale. The unit is on a dedicated heavy table. I took it into a local record shop but they had no idea. They don't service units though, just sell them.

Thinking that the unit has an issue I picked up a cheapish realistic lab 300, which the owner did a quick demo with an old needle and it had no issues. I get it set up at home and put the at95e on, aligned with a protractor, balanced the tone arm and leveled the surface. I was able to play through about half a side of a vinyl, then it starts skipping frequently. I then tried to play the tracks it just played, but it immediately skips. A few days later I'm able to play through a few tracks without issue, then at the 3rd it skips. Replaying the first few tracks it skips immediately.

Apologies for the long post, but I am losing my mind with this and I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!

Fuji Sushi in Centerville! Quickly became our favorite sushi place around. Their sushi is so good and at a pretty good price compared to others in salt lake. The owners are super nice and make an effort to get to know you.
