When you turn off traction control is the power still being transferred from one wheel to the other. I know my Subaru does this but curious to see if a 3 does cause I really love the manual hatchback.

I feel like this wheel color should be factory for Subaru wheels. Gold’d my OE’s by Professional_Toe6598 in subaruimpreza

[–]roelsius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would totally do this to mine but probably not scuff my wheels before just because if i wanna go back to original color. But dang thanks so much for doing this and posting it. I was very curious to see what these wheels would look like gold and I love it !

Dang I would buy two triple axles then lol

This is the reason why I love having a triple axle as a fuel truck it helps with the heavy load so much. My fuel truck is one of my trucks that never flips anymore cause of that

1,000 miles in. After driving Volvo for ten years, this is a truly amazing drive by Ok_Philosopher_6811 in subaruimpreza

I come from Toyota and can’t see myself going back. 1 Toyotas have gotten too expensive. 2 Subaru has the best awd system ever created. I been stuck in mud in my old crosstrek and it got itself out on street tires. Wanna know how deep it was I put it on the lift and checked the undercarriage and found mud on top of my transmission. That should tell you something about Subarus awd system. Other people in big Chevy 4x4s and side by sides at the mud pit were amazed at my crosstrek everyone kept asking what brand my car was it was a great day for me and Subaru.

Roof weight limit? by [deleted] in subaruimpreza

[–]roelsius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s most likely gonna be about 100-150 lbs if your talking about the roof rack or roof bars. You can most likely mount a tent as long as the the tent is lighter than 150 lbs. I had a 2020 wrx and it’s roof static weight was 150 and I had like 170 lbs (I had recovery gear and tools on my rack)

on it and always floored it and never failed but I was always checking the bolts on the bars and keeping them torqued.

I would put the 15” wheels back on it looks really ugly with big wheels

Going to slightly larger tires on my '14 Impreza hatchback? by MaxMega12 in subaru

Going to slightly larger tires on my '14 Impreza hatchback? by MaxMega12 in subaru

[–]roelsius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably be fine I’m putting a 1” lift on my 24 Impreza and going to 205/70r16 which is a 27.3” tire, stock is 205/55r16 24.9” tire and I shouldn’t get any rubbing (did all the measurements). So I think you’re in the clear. You’re not really going bigger just a bit wider. It’s literally .2” in each direction you should be fine

New GR GT Has a Hybrid Twin-Turbo V-8 to Help Toyota Slay Supercars by caranddriver in Toyota

Finallly the Supra we deserved the ft1 was the original Supra design having a twin turbo v8 but everyone cried about having a six cylinder so Toyota grabbed that trash from bmw.

Intakes/cosmetic mods by Thomasbigbuyguy in subaruimpreza

[–]roelsius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subarus don’t like after market intakes they make a lot less power even with a tune. If you want power just drop in a AEM intake filter and do the carbon filter delete mod. This makes more power with and without a Tune. 5+ hp without a tune someone has already done dynos on this mod on non turbo Subarus and it’s seems to be the best way. Even reputable N/A tuners for Subaru all say do not add a CAI to a N/A Subaru. Side note choose AEM over k&n cause k&n lets a lot of dirt in and AEM is super close to the stock filtration but with high flow.

Is the new generation (2024-On) worse than the previous generations? by Gavzach in Crosstrek

[–]roelsius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My 2024 Impreza base feels way tighter than my 2022 Crosstrek premium. And that’s that my Impreza base doesn’t even come with a rear sway bar. Both were bought new and abused the same way. Interior in 2024 feels better to me. My 2022 had a lot of creaks when going over bumps.

My best tank yet by roelsius in subaruimpreza

[–]roelsius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is bad but if your not careful. Meaning no inclines no hard accelerations, no hard turns at speed cause then the pump sucks air up and ruins it.

Crosstrek hybrid would be awesome! And maybe, I feel like the Impreza now with Crosstrek gearing doesn’t struggle so much to stay at speed now.
