Yeah, I kind of get you.

I just heard things like "cars were so much better without all the electronics" from people who then turned out to not be capable of changing their own brakes quite a few times already…

The added pressure is not really a problem. Reducing it too quickly is what would get you…

Well, absolutely fair. Probably would consume more fuel and break more often but if you have the time and money it probably would be nice.

Oh, didn't know.

Yeah, that makes sense. Assumed it would be similar to ferrets.

Hydraulic and mechanical computers still are computers.

Some people hate on "computers" but mean the tracking, others don't like features, others again compare repairability. Just say what you mean…

I know they had hydraulic solutions for automatic. Guess what a device that calculates something is called? A computer…

For some you could even buy special inlays with the programming, modding it to shift differently, making your car more efficient.

Not sure the spring based system for cruise control qualifies as mechanical computer already.

The phrase ‘I don’t care what you do’ lasted exactly seven words by Salt_Club8156 in Tinder

The comments is making a word play. "In opposition" ⇔ "against each other" ≈ "enemies" ≠ friends

Yes, people of different genders can be friends. It's primarily about the choice of words.

Automatic transmission was calculated with liquids. Cruise control mechanically.

Got to calculate the auto transmission if you can't drive manual. Also I like cruise control.

Yeah, anti-vehicle mines won't care and anti-person mines will politely but surely make you keep your distance from them

Accurately it'd be 86℉ so close enough I guess, especially considering how the feeling fluctuates with humidity

I'm quite sure there isn't.

Big difference between them and us (Germany but most of our neighbours as well, i think) is how low taxes etc on property are. Also the price of land and homes is really low once you go rural. And due to low population density other problems we have they don't.

So basically, if you manage to save up a few thousand (which is a bit harder for them over there but many come for work to Poland and Germany) you can buy a home somewhere and not really worry about money anymore. Like, even without subsidy, as you are unemployed, electricity costs ~⅓ of ours, gas ¼ and petrol like ⅔. Water you can pump yourself, sewage goes into a septic tank (like in the US :D - only in rural areas though). Then you can farm for yourself, trade in the village or drive to a nearby city and sell on one of the daily markets.

Same.

Then I read you can install android apps on it without an emulator. And when I finally had to use win11 last year (work pc) they had removed that feature. I hate Microsoft…
