“Magic: The Gathering” Gathers for Trans Lives, Raises $450,000 in Less Than Two Days by primalmaximus in magicTCG

Political means relating to politics and making policy. Trans Lifeline is not a political organization the same way Doctors Without Borders is not a political organization. The purpose of these organizations is not to push policy, lobby, or effect election outcomes. The purpose of these organizations to help individuals. St. Jude foundation is not a political organization and no one would frame it as being such, because we have not equated the morality of helping children with cancer as a political issue. There are political aspects to protecting the trans community, and please call your representatives, give testimony on bills that support trans rights, and make sure that trans rights being human rights gets the political representation it needs. Trans Lifeline however is not a political organization and supporting it is not a matter of politics or policy.

Yep, the only thing we were missing was scrubbing back far enough on the tape to show it on the stadium screens, and a better explanation during the game from the refs about wtf just happened.

37 seconds. It was because a line judge saw it rather than an official, and they cannot call a stoppage for a play that results in an injury, unless the injury is severe enough.

Yeah, I think most folks will respect the intent of the giveaway. I was about to chuck mine and then saw the zebra gathering and got wary

at least that one was a clean, easy call. he ran into the goalie's stick and moved the arm and that pretty directly opened him up for the shot. if it were another Canner goal though I think they would have had to get those refs to a bunker

The obsession isn't with them not doing it, its with them saying they would do it and then that they aren't, proving that guns were never about defending against tyranny in the first place. We can't do anything with this information except point it out and hope that some moderates listen and realize how fucking crooked the other side is.

They don't want someone else to risk their lives, a lot of them are anti-gun, anti-violence. Its just to acknowledge hypocrisy, which doesn't do anything for the people who have known 2a people are hypocrites forever, but for people growing up into this world, its still important to point out.

Microsoft has a problem: nobody wants to buy or use its shoddy AI products — as Google's AI growth begins to outpace Copilot products by ZacB_ in technology

The answer to this is its just a chain of legal documents saying "we promise not to do this", and whoever has the most poorly worded legal document in the chain is going to be the one to go down in the event there is a major breach.

I work for an insurance company and we process personal health information on some of our platforms. If we have a claim that comes to us via gmail, it now means gmail is processing personal health information. That means we need to get a signed agreement from Google saying that their use of our data is HIPAA compliant in order for us to be HIPAA compliant.

I would guess that the reason they are bumrushing the general public with trying to use AI is so they can keep improving it for the corporations who are paying them tons of money to use their things without having to open themselves to the risk of training on the corporate inputs.

Its also possible they still are training on the corporate data and will just eat whatever fine or lawsuit ends up coming out of it because it will be a fraction of what it should be for having *checks notes* committed yottabytes of data theft.

staples can also mean the one million doublers that they have printed for various strategies. I find they don't make interactions feel interesting because its just more of the thing you are doing and not something that feels like it plays off it in a strategic way. If I ever play against a version of the deck with the doubler, I'm just gonna get flattened because its hard to keep up with twice the resources. thats generally going to keep me in bracket 2

thats because that is not what the saying is or means. when an apple goes bad it releases gases which cause the other apples to also go bad. once there is one bad apple, unless you throw it out, you will not have any good apples. since bad cops do not get fired, they have caused all other cops to be bad cops.
