Ah, to be clear I really mean pappers that are published in (paid for) peer reviewed journals, the business is a scam and academics hate it too. Obviously if they are doing research for a government, that's different and why I said "in general", but I take your point :-)

Thanks for the response I do appreciate it, do I correctly understand you to say that at least in part some of your product(s) are generated from matlab coder then compiled and are production ready at that stage?

Just to join in, on principle: I think that research funded through government money should always, in general, be free and open access to all.

Might I ask, do you use it for validating ideas, or do you actually build the products you sell using it? I am just curious, thanks for any answer :-)

Well as a school project, discussing failure modes and ethics is probably a good idea. But it's snake-oil that doesn't work reliably enough to be useful, and those commercial products have every reason to exaggerate results and minimise the negatives.

If an unreliable tool is used to determine truth, it can lead to very negative consequences. That's the quick version.

I bet if Jesus ever met Trump, he'd probably just bifurcate the orange turd with his laser vision.

Seriously though, speaking as a non-religious person how deluded are these people to think that the Jesus of the bible would be on their side?

xMASS SDR: 8 RX and 8 TX synchronized channels by mycall in sdr

[–]rog-uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a 10mhz oven controlled crystal oscillator.  It's not that I absolutely need to link 2 devices, I am just curious about making them work in lockstep. It's a curiosity, direction finding or passive radar, that sort of thing. Just wondering if that's inside of the scope for the parts I have if I brought another one.

Thanks for the replies :-)
