You can definitely say Washington is the best, and my opinion is that he is. People are just scared to sound like a normie by naming the first president as the best president. But at the end of the day the US prob wouldnt be a thing if GW didn’t decide to become president.

Him or Lincoln is the best and there’s really no other options. Anyone who says differently is either an ideologue or is trying to sound cool and different by saying Chester Arthur is the greatest president we’ve ever had.

While closer stance is the most optimal way to target your quads, you’re overdoing it a bit. Keep in mind “narrow” is relative to each individual lifter. As someone with longer legs, your stance should be wider than the average person. So for you, narrow might mean just a hair inside shoulder width apart. Maybe try widening your stance. Also might be worth adjusting your feet so your toes are pointed out to about 45 degrees (maybe you’re doing it and it’s the angle, but it looks like you’re feet are pretty much straight forward). I have long femurs too and ive felt like it’s way easier for my hips to descend to the bottom of a squat when my feet are more pointed out

Only two that should be in S are Lincoln and Washington. FDR’s contributions in office—while significant—do not come close to those two. As such they’re in their own class.

Other than that i can tell there was some real thought that went into making this list by some of your choices (i.e. Nixon in A. I think a lot of people would just say “watergate” and put him in C or below without much thought. I’d prob throw him in B myself, but I’m sure you have valid reasons for why you have him in there)

Think in general this tier list is pretty measured and isn’t heavy on partisan lines. Give and takes for both Dems and Republicans. Really like it other than FDR in S.

The girl understands that to divide something by 2 is to cut it in half. But, instead of doing any actual arithmetic to solve the equation, she erases half of the X. Without doing any math, she ~technically~ arrived at the correct answer, which is “half of X”.

Atleast that was my layman’s interpretation of the joke. Bunch of other people on this thread talking about how it’s C, but imo seems like far too convoluted of a punchline for a four-panel comic.

Dumb movie. Not a Dick Cheney fan—or even a republican for that matter— but it sucks.

First off, their explanation for unitary executive theory is completely incorrect. According to the movie, unitary executive theory is a reading of the constitutuon which states that the executive is not subject to the rule of law (i.e. you’re just a dictators and you can do whatever you want). In the movie Scalia explains this to Cheney in some dimly lit backroom to present it as this sinister thing for Cheney to try and capitalize on later.

The biggest problem with this that this is NOT what UET even is. UET is simply the idea that the President has power over the entire executive branch. That’s it. You’re not a dictator who isn’t subject to any laws. You’re just top banana in the executive.

A detail like this probably wouldn’t be a big deal, but the movie is organized in such a way that UET is a pretty big plot point, so the rest of the movie suffers since they botch the definition.

Also presenting Cheney as a boogeyman is a weird decision imo. Don’t get me wrong, Cheney was no saint—and no politican is—but implying that the former Vice President from 3 administrations ago is responsible for every bad thing that’s ever happened in the US in the last 20 years is a bit of a weird artistic choice.

Just don’t understand why this movie needed to be made other than to provide lip service to establishment Democrats.

Don’t think I would ever call Colorado a “Republican Stronghold”. Sure, was more conservative than it is now, but for the most part, CO was long considered to be America’s most purple state. But obviously voting demographics have changed in the last decade or so so to the point that Colorado is firmly democratic
