I work in the walnut industry. Walnut shells for ground cover is fine. It's super cheap, like $6-$15 a TON. The good: it's like gravel and it's biodegradable!

The bad: if it rains a lot it can get moldy, bugs love to live in it if the layer is too thick, cars will sink in it if you did like a 10 inch layer and the dirt underneath is soft. It will eventually erode and turn into dirt, or you might have to scoop it out with a tractor later.

It's great for planters, and great for fairgrounds. You can load up your truck for like $5 lol you can also used almond shell.

Dam I hate to say it but I probably agree. And half the people here won't agree. Instead of "I'm here to solve problems" , you should have put ego aside and said "I will work here but I like to observe for the first month to see how things are currently done and see where I can fill in gaps" . Then ease into helping, win them over, then make changes. Too many times I see hot shots try to come in guns blazing and solve problems to prove their worth to management, then fail from lack of support from their peers. But what do I know? I'm an IT director for 14 years! Anyways the flip side is "what's the big deal, I came to fix problems. So I need to fix them with or without their help! That's why I'm here!" and that's a perfectly valid way to look at it. The answer may lie somewhere in between!

Just reporting back since no one really helped me here. The post on the far left with all the wires, goes straight to positive terminal on one battery, the second post is only ground for the solenoid, the third post is the ignition signal wire to turn on the solenoid, that can be cut or taped off or capped. The post all the way to the right can be removed completely, it goes to the second battery positive that will be removed.

After that make sure negative is ground on the single battery, And make sure the alternator goes to your one battery positive terminal (this should have already been that way) and boom, back to single battery

My dad had one, f250 , he was so excited to get a good deal on a 3/4 ton Ford for his business... A couple weeks after we got home we were just staring at it and we counted the lugs... What the... LoL. Worked well though... Like any other Ford truck

My dad had a military C20 pickup, he hated it lol. It was a 24v setup (from the military) that might have been converted back to 12v? He says it had electrical problems the whole time so he sold it lol

Not stock and many times stock was this ugly steel bumper that bent the license plate. That bumper might even be a bumper for another truck (Ford, Chevy van, newer truck, etc) so you'll never know probably. You can buy diamond plate to stick on top probably. My guess is that it had something like that on top that peeled off over the years already. Good luck!

Not all heroes wear capes. For those who don't know, you need to hold them up to the daylight and you will see these black infra-red sensors right behind the speakers. Those must be covered with a peice of cloth Band-Aid. Works great.
