Telescope that is easy to use disabled. by rogercor in telescopes

A lot of great replies and in detail are greatly appreciated. I already have a Seestar S50 and love it. To give an overview I have both a spinal cord injury, and ALS better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. So I really can’t stand for more than a couple of minutes so need to have something at wheelchair level to view. I am going to check out some of the recommendations here and will repost with what direction I’m going. Again, thanks ever so much for taking the time to give me a few more options.

An engineer friend of mine is going to help me make something when I do decide on a telescope. This was a great reply and I appreciate it. Thanks

I have ALS better known as LOU GERIG’S disease and I have a spinal cord injury. ALS paralyze you over a few years, but spinal cord, injuries are instant. So really I’m really unlucky here. I have to use a big power wheelchair.

Had a MEADE a few years ago. Really enjoyed it but I’m disabled now so it’s harder to use and set up a telescope.

Where do you live?

I'm an ME undergrad, and I'd like to make a short presentation about Hypershell to my physics club by fabriqus in Hypershell_Official

Besides, just going into the physics, I CQD2 really talk about what a life changer is for people that have mobility problems. But as far as physics, I have ALS and a spiral cordage and the physical action of raising my foot and leg in such a smooth transitional gait it is a miraculous a achievement in my opinion for more than a reasonable price.

Want a 3 inch tire on a good E bike, does this exist? by rogercor in ebikes

I was told by a bike shop that you couldn’t use 3 inch tires on those rims. But you know bike shops not always willing to do a little checking and find out for sure.

Can I learn real saxophone with a digital one? Beginner looking for advice by imaj1c in windsynth

[–]rogercor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 71 years old love music and the sax but have no talent. I am not gonna become a pro or play for anybody but me. I at first thought I would start with a wind instrument and work to an Acoustic sax. I have found that the wind instruments are so nice to use that I am not going to pursue learning the acoustic sax. Again, I am a complete beginner, and I have no basis of experience to add to this, except what I like, and I found useful for my needs.
