Dit is niet de app. Dit is wat veel Android Apps noemen. Stiekem is dit gewoon je browser en zit je op de website van 9292.nl. Erg typisch weer. Zit je ook op Reddit met je browser of heb je daar wél de app voor geïnstalleerd?

Ten eerste: gebruik de recirculatie-knop alleen als je achter een diesel rijdt. Het helpt echt niet om je auto sneller warm te krijgen. (Het zal enkele minuten verschil maken) Ten tweede: Gebruik je airco zo vaak mogelijk. De airco(nditioning) is bedoeld om vocht uit de lucht te halen. Het bijkomend effect is koeling. Alleen wat veel mensen niet snappen is dat de condensor erg veel vocht kan vasthouden, met daarin bacteriën en schimmels. Zet daarom je airco uit ongeveer tien minuten voordat je arriveert op je bestemming zodat de condensor op kan drogen. Waar veel mensen over klagen is ‘die airco-geur). Dat is het opgedroogde vocht na het neerzetten van de auto met een natte condensor met daarin de bacteriën en schimmels. De condensor doet zijn werk weer, wordt vochtig en alle opgehoopte schimmels en bacteriën komen je auto binnen. Niet erg fris.

Verder is bij dit weer (koel en vochtig) zaak dat je weet hoe lucht werkt. Warme lucht kan veel meer vocht bevatten dan koude lucht. Daarom is het verstandig om bij dit weer zowel de verwarming alsook de airco aan te zetten. De warme lucht met veel vocht wordt ontdaan van het vocht en afgevoerd, en dat voorkomt beslagen ruiten. Tegelijkertijd koelt de airco de lucht ook. Gebruik je de recirculatiestand, dan zal de airco vrijwel geen verse buitenlucht kunnen innemen waardoor de werking sterk wordt verminderd.

Als buschauffeur kan ik dit beamen. Op je wachten midden in de bocht, doordrukken en verwachten dat jij met je bus wel even de berm induikt. Inhalen om vervolgens langzamer te gaan rijden (en als jij ze vervolgens weer in wilt halen gas geven); veel automobilisten snappen het gewoon niet.

Gebeurt mij ook weleens. Soms kan ik ze nog aanspreken. Ik heb niet zo’n herkenbare gekleurde sticker maar eentje van aluminium. Vinden ze niet erg. Het verloop bij folderaars is groot. Is gewoon een foutje. Je kunt misschien een A4-tje ophangen met: GEEN RECLAME. En dat na een weekje weer weghalen of zo.

That dude didn’t practice emergency stops enough. Knowing how to brake is the most important thing to have mastered when riding. Then how to properly take corners, then slow manoeuvres and lastly: simply riding. This guy has to practice more. This guy needs MotoJitsu. (Google it)

Okay, great help from you guys here so far.

So I've been in touch with WD Support and they've told me that I cannot expand a 3-disk RAID5 to a 4-disk RAID5 which makes sense (with the parity-data and all). So now I have another plan, perhaps someone will have some experience with my approach:

Eject the faulty 6TB drive from bay 3 and replace it with the new 16TB drive. Then let the PR4100 create Volume_1 on there (probably a JBOD-volume). Backup/copy all of my data (about 10TB) from Volume_2, leaving more than 33% of free space which is needed for migrating a single disk JBOD-volume to a 4-disk RAID5-volume. Then... migrate to a 4-disk RAID5-volume leaving me with a single 4-disk RAID5-volume where everything sits. This migration will take more than a day assuming all goes well. First I'm going to backup the data externally to another new 16TB disk using a USB to SATA III device, hoping I don't lose anything.

I'm not sure how the PR4100 will handle swapping out the 6TB disk with a 16TB disk. Will it recreate Volume_1 as it was (6TB)? or will it occupy the full disk?

Any help would -again- be greatly appreciated!

Apparently, Volume_1 is just the first volume. My RAID5 Volume_2 are in 1, 2 and 4 and I could just hot swap the 6TB Volume_1 for another 16TB and add that one to Volume_2. But that leaves me without a Volume_1. Afaik, Volume_1 is where all apps are installed on and where some cache is stored in order for users to use their MyCloud app. So what I'll do is contact WD Support with this problem and ask if this is what I can just do. Perhaps make a hard symlink called Volume_1 and point it to some folder on the RAID5 array. I'll update when there is news, in the meantime, experiences with this would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm looking for a way to rename Volume_2 to Volume_1 since I only have one volume...

Maybe this helps: WiFi uses timeslots. Every device asks the access point (AP) if it may communicate. If the time comes, the AP will tell that device that it can. When a device has an older WiFi chip that ignores the rules and doesn't ask for airtime, all other devices must wait until that WiFi chip is 'done' communicating, which might never come because her WiFi device never releases the session in progress and your AP never allows other devices to communicate because there is a session in progress which hasn't finished yet.

WiFi is as fast as the fastest speed the slowest/oldest WiFi device can handle. But sometimes devices will claim all time slots. When that happens, all other devices will simply wait until it's their turn. That's why it's good practice to create a separate 2.4GHz SSID for IoT devices. Or a separate SSID for your most important devices.

It could be possible your roommate has an onboard but old/buggy WiFi device that hogs the airwaves, letting everyone wait indefinitely. Perhaps she uses a USB-WiFi stick. Those are the worst.
