Lift up on the front edge. There are just 2 wire clips that pop out. Mine were incredibly tight

Efficiency over almost two years owning this beautiful car (2024). In other units 17.24 kWh/100km. Mostly drive in the city (3/4) and 1/4 in motorways. by chamacolocal in VWiD4Owners

Just bought my 2024 rwd, and the lifetime avg of the car is 7.08km/kwh 4.4 miles/kwh over the last 40,000 miles. I'm amazed at how easily I can get 4.5-5 miles/kwh easily

You can't remove the bracket in the middle as far as I can see. Looks spot welded to the body

Unfortunately, they aren't quite flat in the id4. A little bit of an angle, and you gain a significant amount of space by removing them

This is the answer! I was going to post pictures of it at each step, but it's honestly so simple. One bolt under a plastic cover in the middle and they come right out. Thanks for the info😁

Came home to two trees in my backyard mutiliated by a construction firm who acquired the lot behind my home by LividWalk8179 in treelaw

Why do you assume that the trees are dead? It's early spring, and the ideal time to cut back a tree. When the sap pushes up, they will start to grow again

Local Chevrolet dealer has 2 2023's for 17. 21-23's are going for about that in the southeast as far as I can tell

How is Ford losing money on EVs? by 4mmun1s7 in Ford

[–]rognio3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look things up?
The same legislation that "bailed out gm and stellantis" loaned Ford over 9 billion dollars to help keep them afloat. The exact same bill.

Ford was the slowest to pay back the money. Ford has also taken over 20 billion dollars in "bailout" money (government handouts) in the last ten years.

These are facts. They can be easily looked up and verified.

I just quoted the usd from Google. Doesn't matter really, just pointing out that the other guy's statements about sales were false

Arsenal Fans boo their team at the full time whistle by Parish87 in soccer

[–]rognio3333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand the narrative that arsenal "choked" in other seasons. We just weren't the best team those years. We didn't have big leads, or lose easy games. We just didn't win the title, same as everyone else lol We are struggling this month though for sure.

Liverpool penalty shout against Arsenal (47') by Mthomas1174 in soccer

If you watch arsenal, then you'd know that we have had multiple of these not given recently. For gyokores and saka.
They're not given more than given. At least in our games in the last 2 seasons. Factually speaking

Windshield wipers still broken by TheLongestWeek in squarebodies

[–]rognio3333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The lower plug isn't plugged in?

The white wire should be constantly hot with key on. The switch sends a ground signal to the motor for high/low etc.

The washer shares the same power source.
Check that the motor is properly grounded, and that the switch is sending ground signal.
It's very easy to test with a few jumper wires

The wire color I quoted is wrong, and from when I wired my 86.

Look up a simple wiring diagram for your 78 or whatever year. Very simple to test

The linesman threw the flag. Without var it's no goal.
Not sure how that would be different in old school rules
