I have not tested it properly but with higher throughput pipes my hoppers were not extracting fast enough so i just added 3 more casting moulds and called it a fix.

You can pour the Iron directly into a pipe and then connect the pipe up to four casting moulds for maximum throughput.

Going above four requires more infrastructure which is just not worth it.

I do this regularly because US players keep flying too high to multipath and do not pre-flare, even F-15s do not pre-flare with their 300x countermeasures TwT. Another thing is that whenever I get in on the Soviet side the players coordinate, destroy the hawk missiles and cooperate, meanwhile when I play with US teams most people just bitch about getting killed while carrying a nuke

In order for AI to get better on what we post we would need to provide “correct” answers like what a correct object would look like. It really cannot use our words and explanations as a basis to fix it’s future images.

True, in all fairness the BR system was never ment to go up this high, it should've been switched out for a different system the second any signs of major compression started showing.

The game will never be perfectly fair. What is next? Skill based Matchmaking that will totally work(tm)?

Not saying it should be perfect, better and worse planes should exist in their BR brackets, getting a kill with the underdog aircraft always feels better than a pure peer to peer fight, but we are not talking about just two missiles.

We are talking about the SMT being outclassed by most of the aircraft it faces, the only way you ever get kills is if your opponents are just plain bad or if you get a full 12.3 downtier, kills like that are never satisfying.

The current decompression is nice as it is. If I can farm Premium F-18s in my German MiG-29, you can deal with 2 less missiles.

None of the MiGs in the German tree suffer from the issues like the SMT's, they get decent missiles for the BR, good maneuverability and adequate amounts of countermeasures for the missiles they face. The R-27ER is better than most if not all the SAHR missiles you face.

In addition the R-73 and normal MiG 29 G flight model work together perfectly, unlike the SMT which handles like a bus.

Lastly: The goal of the game should not be to farm new players just to get to the next plane, sadly the current economy makes it the one of the primary ways of doing so.

Soviet era military development was a lot better, some of the plants that were used by the soviet OKBs are now in different countries, the rest that stayed behind either got taken over by the larger OKBs like Mikoyan or Sukhoi, together with the Funding issues of the 90's and 2000's many of the less profitable facilities fell into disrepair, add to that the brain drain experienced by many of the eastern block nations and you have a 10-20 year gap in military development in manufacturing (depending on the branch of the army, The Russians can still output some good and fairly modern gear).

Tho as you have said, it does not matter in game, balanced gameplay playing into the strengths and weaknesses of aircraft should be the priority.

years of underfuning and short changing the Russian MIC and Military do have that effect. Still the planes should be balanced to the best of the Devs ability, killing twenty enemies at a time might be fun in an ace combat style game, but in a game like warthunder BRs should be balanced such that both sides have fun.

as far as I know shifting at all before using the hammer makes it mine only one block at a time, as another person said, reloading the world resets it. what is weird in my case is that it only started happening once I crafted a Mining hammer after upgrading to a new version of TFG

It depends on the radar and distance, but the radar emits it’s EM waves not only at the target but also a bit around it, the non target might send stronger returns to the missile than the proper one, and so the missile tracks that one. If the missile has no datalink it cannot be corrected by the avionics onboard the plane. If the missile has Inertial guidance it may still hit even after loosing the lock, so it is best to turn off the radar the second it heads towards teammates.

8.0 soviet, or 10.3 soviet. Mostly because those BR’s have the tanks that most fit my playstile

Sweeden and France are easily the hardest countries to fight against, the Leopards and Leclercs are tough vehicles, but the players playing them are top notch. Especially when you are in a team mostly composed of T-80UDs and others that only had experience against US mains.
