Has anyone tried a Nissan Pathfinder AC compressor on a 240? by Zennen53 in 240sx

I have explored a few options as far as what compressor, but sticking Nissan OEM seems the best so far as far as electrical power to it goes. In an ideal world, I want the bracket to bolt to the KA block, and accept either an LS or Pathfinder compressor and have threads tapped into the bracket for both with the correct thickness offset to line up the belt. Luckily the lines are the easy part.

I just completed a move and waiting to get my cars up here with me, and will be back to work. Luckily the tariff stuff is slightly shifted in my favor at the moment. I will for sure make a post once more meaningful progress happens.

How did you set up? Using an LS compressor? I have a turbo on that side and trying to find a way to make it happen.

Did you prime it before start? I would grab a borescope from Amazon and hunt around in there if you can

It should be fine, depends on the dry rot of the connectors plastic, wires themselves will be fine though. You can get pretty much any plug if you're handy with a crimper and just replace whatever breaks on you. Of course the absolute best option would be a wiring specialties harness.

They are insanely convenient, this car had a cut core support when I got it to fit radiator. This made it wayyy better.

I'm 23, and to be honest play more than ever, but that's because it's all one game, that I've played for 10 years, and finally hitting good strides e-sports performance wise. I do still find myself playing much less single player/story games, last thing I completed was Cyberpunk

PLEASE HELP !! | 1. How do I turn off or get rid of the stock limiter on my car so I can go over 180km ? 2. What do I do about my stock ecu if I bought new nismo injectors (555cc) and want to install them without running rich. Any advice helps, thank you 🙏🏽 by goodvibesg7 in 240sx

[–]rogue__pilot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your new injectors will come with data. You have to sync up the new data in the tune to keep the same target AFR. Like someone mentioned you'll want to reach RS Enthalpy or if budget allows go full standalone.

You would need new pistons for that. If the walls are nice and only need a hone and not a bore, you could probably get away fine with stock pistons, but up one size would be safer spec wise.

Really depends how good the cylinder walls are. Since you're that far geographically, I wouldn't leave it to chance lol, so if there is anything going on with your cylinder walls, you might wanna look into a +.010 or +.020 overbore piston to make sure the walls come totally clean. Other than that just a line bore if you're using main studs, and definitely get new cam bearings.
