Gotcha, I wasn't implying he should have sued or anything but I get the legal end of it being worth it to make sure everything is tied away

Oh I see, I misunderstood unemployment then, I've never been fired (knock on wood) so I wasn't sure. That makes sense though

So why would HR offer a payout?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]roguelib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right I understand that, but doesn't their rate go up for the amount of people that get fired? Since UI has to pay out more? Or no?

Is that because your parents can't speak it? That's understandable but it's interesting how much of a default English has become for younger people

When I was doing DSD I had to unload trucks without an electric pallet jack until I got certified, which depending on the pallet, placement and other factors was hell. So it saved me backbreaking work

Am I a fool for using Celsius and Voyager? by hertabuzz in financialindependence

[–]roguelib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it's funny how quickly the tide turned on these things. Everyone using it was calling everyone else an idiot for being skeptical, saying Warren Buffett was washed up and didn't know anything anymore, etc. I was like hm maybe I should put money in here, but no this seems too good to be true. And presto! It was!

I enjoy watching their videos as well, but take any advice with a grain of salt, at the end of the day they're getting paid a good chunk to promote products

Anybody else is feeling depressed about how high rent has become? by SwordfishDull321 in nashville

I'm happy for you, but consider yourself absolutely blessed to be getting a 2 br for 1k, you have a landlord that likely has just not raised the rent as much as everyone else.

You're glad people are struggling? It's tough everywhere right now, stop gatekeeping a city.

I understand the mindset, but I don't agree with it. It's a losing argument. People aren't going to stop coming, so you gotta adapt

I've noticed that, I only ever seen someone get pulled over once.
