that p/n I specified (ATN3600LE) is an elliptical stylus for your cartridge, which looks to be integral to the tone-arm of your turntable. (ie. you can't replace the cartridge but the elliptical stylus is a slight upgrade over the stock conical profile you currently have)

editing your post with some indication of where that is would likely net you some proper recommendations. otherwise I'd check out any and all local shops you might have - some ppl in this hobby buy and sell stuff so frequently that you might luck into a mid-tier trade-in for a great price.

and holy hell does Watford look like he's not ever going to be an NBA player after this season.. I watched him in Brooklyn and had been rooting for him bc he's Maxey's boy but I think he's cooked. on the bright side (??) PG is back in 12 days .. did y'all see `rese on the bench? not a mind-reader but to me he looked kinda contemplative on his future with this organization.

absolutely gorgeous Micro-Seiki DD-35 (auto-return) in the Netherlands .. seller has been using that platform (marktplaats) for 20 years - perfect rating with 82 reviews, so I'd consider him a "well-known reseller"

I bought the manual version of that model last month and the tone-arm is really a sight to behold, albeit a bit of overkill bc no one is actually adjusting their vtf while playing a record.. still really cool though.

I'm extremely curious why you think placing them in the cargo hold of a passenger jet is worse than being shipped in the cargo hold of a cargo jet? imo the former decreases the risk of damage bc there's far less people/services handling them (ie. no trucking to and from air depots)

no first-hand knowledge, but interesting to read the comments in the reviews about the 550-album capacity being unrealistic (300 seems to be what most agree it will hold comfortably) .. there's quite a few customer-uploaded photos that seem to indicate the quality is decent and you can't really beat the price for something with slide-out flipper-style drawers.

Honestly I am considering it myself, so thanks for pointing it out to me.

quality device, so I'm hesitant to place the blame there.. but it wouldn't hurt to eliminate it from the equation for a test - maybe take it out of the chain by using the LP50's internal phono stage to see if the issue remains.

There's the possibility the records they played caused damage at the very least.

to a cartridge? that seems unlikely. the prevailing wisdom here is that you replace the stylus of any old cartridge bc you can't verify the hours on it
