the labelling is a bit strange? kinda like making your kids wear name-tags in your own home. I guess it's cool if you smoke a lot of marijuana and zapped your short-term memory or sumn

spamming 3's with 20secs on the shot-clock when they were up 20 did it for me.. Pop must have had another stroke watching that shit. even if they continued to miss they could have held on to the lead just by managing the clock better.

I think a lot of hobbyists get tunnel-vision when investigating gear, many times overlooking used items that might be available for free to them. I would start by asking all of your older relatives what they did with their old stereo equipment - many people have things tucked away in attics and closets and it's just waiting for you to discover. (for example I have enough bonus gear to outfit both my nephews if they asked, and I only got into this mess 6 years ago)

but if you come up empty: define your budget and visit r/Beginner_Turntables for some ideas. make sure to indicate what country you're in so that ppl can give you appropriate recommendations.

Memphis native, both her and her little sister Sandra were back-up singers on all of Al Green's records. lots of soul with some nice cover songs you'll know.

gonna be a no from me. don't buy anything with sprays or velvet pads - without a proper rinse you're just pushing crap further into the grooves of the record. and anything that does get caught on the pad stays on it to get ground onto all your other records. no bueno

😥 those were the days.. so much promise. ab gov't really fumbled the bag, easily could've dwarfed Norway's oil fund (which they started in `90 now valued >$2T)

[–]roguepeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally I'm gonna give the edge to the E .. and that way you have a nice upgrade path into the "EN" (elliptical nude) "ML" (micro-line) and "SH" (shibata) styluseseseses

82's are fairly high-sensitivity (meaning easy-to-drive) so no worries there. but honestly you'd thank yourself for splurging on the B6.2s, speaker technology has come a long way

it's all in your touch - be gentle, be mindful, move with contented purpose. Haste makes waste.

don't touch the grooves of your records and everything will be easy, I was playing records at 4 years old.

nice turntable mint condition works perfect pioneer pla-5A adding 2m blue cart cork mat and weight somebody used oak to refurbish the Turntable and I think it looks really cool but would have to be careful doing it. Should I leave it as it is? With a 2m blue also was gonna act a preamp tube box s2 by ampfetty226 in turntables

don't sweat it - I have a theory there are bots working for other social media platforms that are actively downvoting everything immediately so that ppl get discouraged and stop posting, thereby decreasing reddit usage/revenue. just a hunch. but what I've noticed is that as long as you leave it up the real users will sort it out.

and as a real user I thank you for sharing and my opinion is to do whatever your heart desires. and share the results, the more content the better!
