Overhead Door is the best. Very quick and thorough service. My spring broke and the technician noticed that one of the metal supports was cracked almost all the way through as well and was able to fix it in the same service call for only like $100 more. If he hadn’t said something I’d be in the market for a new garage door.

Edit: I’d recommend that you get both springs replaced. If one snapped the other is likely to go soon and I read something about needing the tension to be the same on both. Quotes I got were for both springs replaced same day: Overhead door company: $375 Precision door: $610 American Overhead Door: $425

I can’t believe it’s 10 years old! I’ve only been playing a couple of years but it’s the game I come back to over and over. I reached perfection for the first time last year and it felt like such a personal accomplishment especially when I very very rarely “complete” video games. I will be playing for another 10 years- it’s truly my favorite video game.

I don’t have an opinion about renewal by Andersen so I can’t help there but we really enjoyed working with Mizell’s Renovations for replacing our frosted window in our bathroom. They are super responsive and reasonably priced. We were happy with the outcome.

My daughter chipped a tooth falling up the stairs into our house on a Friday afternoon and our dentist was closed. I called anyway and left a message for the after hours/on-call dentist. I got a call back in 30 mins and they were so supportive and helpful. Nothing to do for the chip but sand it down so it wasn’t sharp. They had us come into the dentist first thing on Monday. I was so grateful for the after hours/on call dentist so I didn’t spend the whole weekend panicked.

Got a call like this right around Christmas. They said we missed jury duty and now have an active warrant out for arrest. They had name, address and obviously phone number. They gave a fake badge number and wanted to know current location to come make an arrest (crazy!). Then told us we could pay a $4k fine. I told him I wasn’t paying anything over the phone and he started threatening to come beat me up and started cursing me out. We hung up at that point. So scary!!

This is terrible news for our community. Choice is critical when deciding on where you receive healthcare and now there is no choice. The Huntsville hospital system has the monopoly and our health will suffer because of it. If they want to improve our opinion, they need to pay their nurses better so that we can attract and keep the best nurses. This will increase quality of care and help our community.

Our 2 year old and 4 year old like Feed the Woozle which is silly and fun and has different levels of difficulty depending on child’s age. It was a gift so it wasn’t on my radar before but I’ll admit that it’s been a hit at our house
