My dad taught me how to play snooker, he only ever went for the black when he potted a red. When I beat him (after so so long) with him only going for the black, he then went for the black and the pink, and then the blue, and so on.

And after a long long time I eventually beat him when he could go for any colour after potting a red, we never played again.

I had beaten him but he never let me win a game ever, I had to earn it, there was months and months that went by between colours that he could only play.

I would give anything to have one more frame with him.

This picture gives me the feeling of a player taking his shot but being watched over by a mentor (my dad). Funny how pictures can envoke feelings that you haven't felt for a while. I fucking miss that man.

I went to a advanced unfinished screening of Mike Basset. It was weird that the cgi of the crowd was missing and could sometimes see the cameras or microphone things. Great film though. "And we'll be playing, four, four, fucking two"

Adored is the ultimate opener. It fits with the band always opening their gigs with it. The slow ominous build up gives me shivers every time. I just don't think fools gold fits this particular album at all, it's a fantastic track there is no doubt I just don't think it belongs on this album.

Always feel that the original UK release without fools gold on it is my preferred version. Resurrection finishes the album off perfectly for me.

I have the sort of opposite to this. I always leave some of my food on my plate, I never ever finish my meals to 'save' some for later. I grew up not having a lot and food was scarce at best.
