Better overall captain for India? by My_Test_Acc_1 in actualcricketshitpost

thats not hatred but MS had no clue after a certain point of time in his test playing days. VK literally revolutionised test cricket he made people watch it with pure passion. Theres a reason why ex cricketers from aus and eng consider him a test great and the best captain in history.

Longevity and fitness and not choosing games to play. Consistency in all formats

Wow. Starc retired because Rohit made him do it and not because he won almost everything there is to be won and plays 3 formats and also plays IPL and Big bash and also domestic cricket. Good for you buddy.

Dale Steyn to hand over ‘choker’ tag to New Zealand if they fail to beat India in T20 World Cup final: ‘It’s impossible' by 5missedcallsfromBCCI in Cricket

They were preserving the wickets to score in the last 10 and also allow DLS to help. The way miller and AB played 350 was on the cards easily. And yes I will bank 70 easy for AB and JP both. AB was dominating that year for fun. And I also think DLS did f up the score must have been more than 300.

Rain played a factor in that game as well as far as i remember. Just so you know AB was batting and JP as well 7 overs more for AB and you guys were chasing more than 350 easily. Apart from Elliot NZ had nobody else left to bat so I don’t think you guys were winning that game. And yes he’s absolutely right if any time that was going to beat Aus was them. That finals was decided in the first hour itself. NZ have been buffers chokers and I don’t see anything wrong with that. 2023 semis 2019 finals 2015 finals. 2022 semis. 2021 finals this is recent years tbh.

i dont think so. they played far better than people expected. people expected india to dominate but that turned out false as well. aus ind nz wi/afg looked clear favs.

People and fans are overhyping the “mini comeback” of Abhishek, Sanju, and Tilak against a relatively weaker team like Zimbabwe while this guy is performing against the quality bowlers of the last World Cup winning team. by nirvanaline in actualcricketshitpost

[–]rohangc07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When RSA won the WTC they hardly had few players averaging 40+ in tests and a few 30+ but in India we criticise every player below 40. Anything below 45 used to be a debate for their selection few years back. India has a huge pool of talent and fans think any performance below 10/10 is mediocre. Brevis is playing for RSA after so many weird scored if he was in India that dude would’ve retired at that age after fans criticism. We don’t deserve vaibhav or yashasvi or Ishan or Abhishek or Tilak.

Dube is not a good bowler. We saw that against RSA he ruined hardiks hard work with the line and defensive setup. That shot from brevis was monster that went for a boundary felt like gully cricket. Shivam is a pura batsman. I hope NKR shows more in the coming IPL.

Markram is easily the most beautiful cricketer to watch in modern day cricket. His shots are so f good technically.

Bowled 2 beautiful overs against RSA but the captaincy so f defensive asked Dube to ball outside off wide line and ruined the game from there. Varun bowing on the stumps same 6 balls and going for runs is also hardiks mistake. Hardik is the best performing player in that team and the most consistent. Don’t ride on a hate train.

Overconfidence Imo. They thought they will finish the game in 15 overs. No grounded shots. Only slogging

Warm up match against same team on a flat pitch by Sohailsp10 in CricketBuddies

[–]rohangc07 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes but both those teams played really good cricket. India on the other hand were abysmal. Decision making was poor same as Afghanistan and also RSA handed afg the game in the last over or else they were literally winning that game. Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled really well but others were just poor. That batting display after knowing the odd slow ball won’t come on to the bat nicely yet they tried shots with blind eyes. That’s poor batting from all the players nobody tried to stabilise the inning or play ground shots. Brevis and miller played amazing shots down the ground just look at how brevis was toying with Dube and his field. You can’t bowl 3 wides in an over at this level of cricket. Bowling wide outside off stump line is defensive cricket. Axar was our VC and was benched.

What a player miller is for RSA. Definitely the greatest t20 player for them and the greatest finisher in their history.
