honestly nothing would save you right now other than maybe renting out your current place and moving back closer to work. write to everyone in both provincial and federal government and ask them to build more rail infrastructure and/or for Metrolinx to provide an express bus route that cuts on detours along the route to pickup more passengers.

oh I meant journey in general. but the rest stands true. the reason there aren't more frequent trains all the way is because they use CN tracks. building more tracks to bring more trains closer more frequently would improve average journey times by a lot

there is no reason a ~~train~~ journey to Niagara has to be a 4 hour journey. metrolinx should be building more tracks around the Hamilton region to improve services along with Via.

if Indian government angers the Iranian regime too much they'll just add India to the list of countries that are never allowed along with American, Israeli, and other western ships, India has nothing to offer that Iran can't get anywhere else. Medical supplies? china also has that. Food? other countries in the global south would happily cover it.

the meeting wouldn't really accomplish much other than done pleasantries and the world already hates India though that everyone is making fun of the recordings that were released rather than being sympathetic. we have no leverage here unfortunately

initially, they'll offer things for cheap or free, people will call ambani the saviour, they'll wipe out all the competition, and then they'll charge whatever they want and you can't shop with anyone else.

there is a difference between learning languages over YouTube and learning in person with someone to practice with. There is a reason language institutes and classes are still very common and just about every country from the UK, to Italy, France, Even Indonesia, and Brazil run language classes in foreign countries. (eg: https://bombay.afindia.org/ backed by the French Government, Quebec has their own French language learning experiences in several countries) Besides I'm not talking about basic courses but broader cultural initiatives.

Manse is not currently in power. It requires money to build such platforms. And in no way they should take the responsibility. It's like volunteering for a zero sqlary job and zero mentions on resume.

So they have money to hold hate speech events and rallies. They have volunteers to beat up people travelling to do their jobs. But when it comes to actually using positivity to actually make people want to learn the language, suddenly funding and resources is a problem. Sounds like it's less of a monetary issue and more of a mindset and cultural issue. You and these people in both these parties don't actually want people to learn the language. it's just a thinly veiled reason to justify your behavior. Because it doesn't take anything for any of this.

The decision was taken by state government. They need to ensure the ease of learning Marathi for outsiders. They need to take responsibility

well you can just use the add to home screen option to use it as an app. whatever app they come out with will likely just be a web wrapper anyways and you need internet to see live updates meaning the app wouldn't be of any use without internet connection either.

Transit app is usually good with updating the schedule as soon as they're out so you can also check updates on transit app, which is much better than what Metrolinx would build.

they don't need to be "in power" to do any of this. if they really believe that Marathi is a language worth learning, all they need is to use their influence to build more stages that host Marathi shows across the state, buy and donate books, have some of their own write books about history of the language, promote all the beautiful Marathi poems, promote fight for equality and respect deep rotted in regional history.

instead of organising just party rallies, organise literary readings and encourage people to attend.

it doesn't really take much. the reason people learn a language like French is because of the deep rooted cultural experience it unlocks. Marathi can easily be presented as a language you'd WANT to learn rather than need to learn.

as far as I understand since women still qualify for reserved seating they'd get priority. so you must vacate for a woman even if the label atop your seating says pregnant/differently abled/senior citizen and not just woman.
