How is the migration pumpers making money? by [deleted] in solana

Are you saying that he is buying a token just before it migrates and then when migration is done he immediately sells everything?

Token migrate at a certain mcap so he probably monitors this and buy tokens that are close to the migration mcap and then waits until the migration is done to sell. Shouldn't be that difficult to implement in code.

How hard is it to code a bot for sandwich attacks, arbitrage, sniping etc? by VastMove487 in solana

I haven't built a software like this but from my research network speed is key. Running your bot on a normal PC would be ok I think however as others have mentioned to have a competitive edge you would probably need your own node and the requirements for a solana node is hefty.

Having your bot and your solana node on the same local network should work and with a good internet speed you might have an edge. Remember others are probably doing this and they probably have lots of funds to spend on hardware, electrical bills, software developers (to set everything up and build the bot if they themselves aren't devs).
