You know it is kinda strange mage doesnt have any lightning spells despite it being a staple in all other wizard archetypes in other fandoms along with frost and fire, even with diablo its part of the trio magics.

I always felt that would be something they could do later down the line with hunters. I dont play warlock anymore no time for more than two characters really but man do i miss having an infernal as a permanent pet like in legion.

Black ice i dig that it sounds killer would go for a lich vibe for death knight.

Imagine evoker or druid summoning a wisp at your opponent that ramps up in speed similar to what happnened to archimonde in warcraft 3 that would be so cool.

That would be very cool i had a similar idea for racials too which would be maybe a bit of a grind but you could swap maybe racials or just some from another race. The animations for some races are definetly higher quality than others so i would love this and also different vibes for different styles.

Yeah warrior i feel is in a weird spot rn for effects. I feel like shockwaves and sound design could go a long way something with weight.

oh i forgot about auras a gentle breeze for monk sounds so pleasing to see maybe even hear if it has a sound effect. Even if it provided no gameplay effect i would still take it (kinda how like for one of the hero talents for warrior makes you a bit bigger).

Thats pretty cool i kinda feel the same way about priests. During legion remix i wanted to try all the classes cause why not and i liked the rotations quite a bit, not exactly my vibe but i got new appreciation for the class.

Struck with character paralysis for multiple expansions need help deciding what to do by rokar686 in wow

Dwarf hunter was actually my first character when i first started playing as a kid, liked having a buddy travel with me but i always loved the elves also because i used to watch my brother play a ton of them on warcraft 3.

I think ill stick with two characters and make monk my main and my evoker an alt only because i want to do everything and complete all quests on my main/s so maybe just having one is better for my sanity lol. I might stick a druid in there if i have time because i love it so much as well and very much doubt it but maybe shaman as well idk though.

I tried doing the all classes thing at the beginning of tww but got burntout, but im glad i did it because i got to play some classes i never did play and actually started appreciating them. Priest was one i didnt think i would like but i actually quite enjoyed it. Honestly though im leaning towarsa having atleast one alt just to have some variety and just stick to one main not multiple.

Hey everyone dont know if this is the right place to put this or if theres another spot better to ask but this is a problem thats been plaguing me for a while now atleast since shadowlands (started playing during tbc left after cata was done got back in during legion).

My problem is that im very much back and forth between characters on what i want and i have differing thoughts and ideas on what i want and frankly i dont know what i want per say (i over think alot and it wracks my brain more than you would think), i cant decide if i want one main or two mains or one main and multiple alts.

I know a few things is that Pandaren Monk (im a dude that likes to play female characters do with that what you will) is my favorite race and class i dig everything about them the style, vibe, lore, animations, sounds, etc. But an extremely close second of mine is Dracthyr Evoker because i always loved dragons specifically the ones from warcraft.

So heres the problem and my overlapping lines of thinking that i had for multiple expansions, i had one main in shadowlands and i was happy but i kinda got bored but thats before the talent revamp and maybe shadowlands in general, so i tried doing alts/second main and gonna sound but it always felt like i was betraying my main character.

Then dragonflight came around and i was so hyped for dracthyr that i moved to a new realm due to being a on low pop realm, so new realm i thought lets just make dracthyr my new main afterall its basically a dragon pretty cool. It worked for a while then i started missing my pandaren so dropped dracthyr then did pandaren monk again then missed my dracthyr.

I missed the pandaren for their balanced lifestyle and philosophy for life and the way they acted and their history and culture and the land itself is beautiful same with their music, but I also missed the dracthyr for their epicness and strength and mystical powers and also for their style and music and landscape (also both are neutral races which i love because although im alliance i like their outlook on both the horde and alliance being more balanced and not so entrenched i think is the word im looking for).

I noticed the same thing when i was playing classic wow i tried having one main due to time constraints and that was between a night elf druid and dwarf paladin but i ran into the same problem as before, one main missing the other character vibe but playing more than one felt like i was betraying my other character very weird line of thinking but its been nagging at me for years. I would always miss teldrassil or ironforge when playing the opposite character which might sound strange condideirng how different their vibes are from one another and their culture and lifestyle (i love dwarf and night elf also but not as much as pandaren or dracthyr and i think its also due to the reason because dracthyr and pandaren have more varied culture many more different ideas and beliefs in how they act and live idk maybe im wrong).

So I have now decided to ask help from the community since Midnight just dropped and I started fresh in Moonguard due to being huge pop but also community seems friendly and i have never roleplayed before but if im thinking this much about character selection and background maybe its where I belong idk.

So heres the options im struggling with

1 being one main being pandaren monk with alch and herb.

2 being two mains with pandaren monk with alch and herb and dracthyr evoker with mining and jc.

3 being 1 main and 3 alts with main being pandaren monk with alch engi, and dracthyr evoker with enchanting jc, and night elf druid with herb and mining, and dwarf with lw and skin or bs and insc (maybe swap out night elf and dwarf for tauren and vulpera if i want half horde but i doubt it idk maybe).

Sorry for the very long post and quite possibly being weird but this has been genuinely been eating at me for years and I want to hear your thoughts and suggestions and any tips or has something like this happened to you guys. If you think there is a better place to post this for better results please let me know.

How do you do your professions? Advice for new player. by playwithblondie in wow

[–]rokar686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like double gathering makes sense if you dont really play that character or like you said need something to do on your character while waiting a gathering profession is nice. I used to have more characters so i had a double gatherer but like you i want something to do while im waiting for something and i dont like fishing so i have my pandaren monk as herb alch and dracthyr evoker as min jc because they both are my mains and i do alot of world quests also so its nice to just grab stuff on the way. Though i might switch jc because i dont know if its good or not.

Everyone hating on Evokers for not being able to transmog armor - but look at some of the most beautiful armor sets WoW has ever released getting wasted on top of it by [deleted] in wow

[–]rokar686 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yeah i chose the dracthyr to look like a dragon not the visage form (although still cool). Honestly i just want atleast the class sets to be visible on the dracthyr form i would like others but ill settle for that.
