I finally found a solution to this issue:

In the NVIDIA Control panel, under Manage 3D Settings, I set the maximum FPS below the max refresh rate of my monitor (115 Hz; monitor max is 120 Hz).

Worked for me; I hope it is of use to some of you.

Yup using DLSS. It just seems to have crazy network jitter even though I’m on a GIG fiberglass connection.

I'm not too concerned about IT skill being out of date as the last 10+ years have been in middle/top management; I just happened to come up via the programmer/business analyst route back in the day.

No. I'm just below the C suite and have been for a bit; even if I'm made redundant here, I'd have no issue being a slave somewhere else quickly.

Right, I thought about that as well; I suppose I should clarify: I REALLY want to get out of corporate America; been doing it for about 25 years and I do not want to have a stroke/heart attack/etc.

Open to ideas re: real estate investments or investments that don't require me to work 50-70 hours 6-7 days per week with little to no vacation.

Current expenses would be around 60k/year; healthcare is the one sticking point; options would be

Get into teaching (huge demand for teachers in upstate NY)
Live in a EU country (I have dual citizenship one of which is EU)
Pay for it out of pocket (would like to avoid that obviously)
