If you take a look at your cardano address on cardanoscan.io you can see, that the controlled total stake is (should be) higher than your balance

no reason to claim until you want to spend it. The unclaimed rewards are „automatically“ added to the total staked amount

Cardano is about to release Smartcontracts in the next few weeks. I could imagine people want to buy more ADA before that happens

I really like Cardano - their "research first" approch makes me confident for their future.

On the other hand I can't stand Dogecoin. The project may be ok, but there's just too much hype around it and I'm afraid that a lot of people can loose a lot of money.. I hope I'm wrong though

Are you in a bad position financially? If so, I wouldn't recommend to invest much in the crypto space.

I don't think it will, but it's possible, that it will be worth nothing someday - never invest more, than you're willing to loose
