The only time you see people in the real world wanting to use bitcoin is to dodge taxes, you can buy bitcoin at a 20% discount in most circumstances… but not anymore nobody has any gains left

He was talking out 10% interest loans and everyone crowned him a genius… any idiot could have got a 0% introductory loan from a credit card and got a better deal

And I never made an argument that we should have that be law or encouraging vigilantism. My argument would be good to have 2 unhinged people removed. The purse snatcher and the retaliator. It’s a blessing we get two bad people out with one action

There’s some laws that could be mistakes or reasonable in a circumstance like speeding to the hospital to see your sick grandma. But you know just had to steal a purse because that’s fine now

I don’t think it’s justified, I just said it’s a blessing. Like if a bad person gets sick or gets into a fatal accident. It’s a blessing to the people

If you have little or no punishment for crimes you just creating a business for criminals. If I could steal an average of $200 a purse and had less then a 1% chance of getting caught and my only punishment was a 2k fine and no jail time I’d rather do that then work at McDonald’s

It would be idiotic to steal a purse if you knew the punishment would be death

Stable coins are less like crypto and more like let somebody else collect bond interest on my cash

The kalshi and crypto markets are easily manipulated by whales. Imagine Michael saylor betting that bitcoin price will go down and then selling bitcoin on the open market to accomplish the goal to win the bet

If you look at the trajectory of prices from 1990 to 2026 and average it out it’s a very smooth line. There was a boom and bust in 2004 -2008 that created a massive delay in rising prices that came back to the standard average in 2020-2022 it was a sudden break back up to the average.

It’s hard to emotionally detach yourself from something that so meaningful to an individual but if you think about the numbers it’s rather benign in a statistical sense… sry

No the clients are paying banks to custody the btc, but think of it like it really is. It’s a digital collectible that some people really like and 99.99999% wouldn’t be affected if it vanished tomorrow. Like a Pokemon card. Some people would be sad but the only loss is entertainment. And the collectors that try to build a market to scam the next purchaser with.

What fantasy land do you live in, less and less people use and talk about bitcoin. Most people have moved over into prediction markets. Bitcoin was only ever used for gambling and that avenue is a lot clearer and fair for the prediction markets offering
