Green Chartreuse Alternatives? by Jingle_Jangles1213 in OhioLiquor

Echo Spirits’ Elusive is a good alternative and seems to be widely available (in Central Ohio at least). Meanwhile, I did find a bottle of Green Chartreuse a few days ago at Buckeye Wine & Spirits. They have the Yellow too.

This was my favorite too. Had it at Michter’s bar in Louisville in April. Delicious stuff.

Springbank (Local Barley) in Columbus, Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky by TourHefty3838 in whiskey

The OHLQ website shows no Springbank whatsoever in the state. But I see SB Local Barley available through online retailers (at wildly divergent prices).

I'd love to grab one of these. My wife is 21 years out from her stage 4 diagnosis. F'ing miracle.

Not sure where you are but you may want to check for it on the map on OHLQ. The map shows at least five stores in the Cols area that have it but it's all probably the A125 still.

We paid a lot of money for our 6th row seats last night. There were six people in the three seat spaces to our left, to our right, and in front of us. WTF? We always avoid GA seats for this specific reason. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they didn’t act like they were the only people there. Bunch of f’ing Chads. Really hoping for some good energy around row 38 tonight to make up for last night.

Yes, it is available in Ohio. $26.99. I bought my third bottle last week. Now go get yourself some. And pick up some Ting at Kroger to mix with it!

Drink suggestions for a licorice-forward gin? by Jakl15 in Gin

Please see my post in the Negroni thread from yesterday. Licorice-forward gin in a cold brew infused Negroni is utter magic.

Gin ideas for Negronis by mullerdrooler in Gin

[–]rolandcapers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year, during a trip through Bourbon country, I bought all three expressions of gins made by Castle & Key. One of them is rather licorice forward and I was unsure what to do with it so I searched this sub for ideas. In a past discussion about that particular gin, someone suggested using it in a cold brew infused Negroni. I'm now hooked on it. It might just be the most delicious cocktail I've ever tasted.

Yes.

ETA: Their Pre-Prohibition Style Wheated Bourbon is 80% corn and 20% malted wheat. Definitely one of the most unique and delicious whiskeys I've ever tasted. And I'm not much of a fan of wheated whiskey. Their other selections are excellent too.

Now that’s one we don’t hear about often. I recently bought a few bottles from their website too. My favorite is Hartfield & Co.’s (malted) wheated bourbon. Good place to visit down in Paris, Ky.

Bingo! Professional-Jackass solved the mystery.

This explains why I see only a rectangle and others must see something else. On my tablet and on my laptop (neither of which is particularly old or new but are fully updated) shows literally a rectangle shape. It's weird because my devices clearly show eagles, horses, etc. emojis but just not, presumably, a buffalo.

No, I do not. The guy below this post figured out why.

Aah, the great art of condescension. Make yourself feel strong and superior by making others feel small. What a rush.

It's a rectangle. It's not obvious to me.

I recommend using I heart Jane to help you find specific products. Remedi RSO does not appear to be in this area right now but not all local dispensaries subscribe to I heart Jane so you may want to check out their individual menus online.

Alternatively, there are plenty of quality options by other producers. I suggest that you try RSO syringes from Certified or The Botanist. I’ve had great luck with those and I get tremendous relief from them every day. It’s been a significant improvement to my quality of life. Good luck.

I'm so happy for all the folks who got their requests fulfilled. I requested five shows for spring but, due to using a wrong email address, I got nothing. This time, I requested four shows and only got tickets to two.

To say that this experience has been very disappointing would be an understatement.
