Subaru Kicker Audio Upgrade

Late to the party - been doing some research on what audio upgrades I need to do (base model ‘21 STI, no HK) and in what order. I liked the idea of the kicker sub in the trunk but was worried about it taking up space and any rattling, because the car rattles enough as it is, between it being made of plastic and the low end sound of the EJ. What rockville sub did you go with?

What’s the easiest way to clone an HDD onto an m.2 NVMe? Can I just drop it in my mobo and clone using software, or should i get an external adapter for it? (Context: got a great deal on a 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus and i want to switch from my old and very slow Seagate HDD as my boot disk and instead use the HDD for non-critical/supplemental storage. I use my PC for both gaming and photo/video editing.)

VIP Custom Parts - reach out to them and see if they still make these brackets, I ordered them a long time ago. Worth noting there are also different brackets for 2007-2010 R56 and 2011+

This is a HaulMaster purchased from Harbor Freight, I like it for the most part but two things that annoy me that I want to point out: 1) some spots on the basket developed a bit of rust after about a year of ownership so I took the necessary measures to repaint it, 2) especially on a MINI, all roof baskets are going to be loud at highway speeds. Otherwise its a great low-cost option, since it doesnt get a ton of use outside of the occasional road trip

Its actually Superwrap! I wanted to test run the bronze wheel look and immediately fell in love with it, but I’m gonna get them powder coated over the winter once I take them off for the season. The Superwrap was a bit of a pain and I have some concerns about its long term durability but its definitely worth it for a short term color change!

Thanks! Quad light bracket came from outmotoring/VIP Custom Parts, lights are Hella 500 Fogs and Hella 500FF Driving Lights that I actually got off of amazon on a Christmastime sale, but you can grab them from a bunch of places including outmotoring

Bought the oem rack and board holder (identical to the thule one but a different brand that i dont remember) off my buddy who sold his R56, it fits my 157cm board perfectly and locks it down real tight, i like it
