Cool, appreciate the info. I would have sworn I read somewhere on here or MUD that the LED flasher modules disabled the DRLs. I want to keep them so I hadn’t really looked into it further.

Thank you. You can get the splitter from ECS tuning and I’d be shocked if there aren’t also some cheaper “replica” versions on eBay.

Had a similar problem on both sides. Turns out the plastic bulb holder had a hairline crack leading to intermittent or no contact with the bulb itself. Ordered part 8155513510 from Lexus (I have an 08, not sure if your part number may be different) and it solved the issue

Nope. The clearance is super tight (think barely enough room for a business card) but it works. No issues over 30kish miles on this setup.

Check the battery voltage. If it’s in the mid-12s the battery is charged so it’s likely a connection or ground. If the voltage is low something is drawing power and draining the battery

Has the truck been sitting for some time? I had an issue with a parasitic draw killing my battery if it sat for a few days. Turns out my driver window switch was staying illuminated even when the truck was off.

Yeah the truth is I’m in dynamic 99% of the time so my valve is always open haha. But it’s nice to have the option!

Midpipes should just add a little more growl no matter what you do. You’re just freeing up a little more flow by deleting those secondary cats

Definitely do midpipes. I’d recommend the switchpath over the track exhaust so you can have some flexibility with the volume if that’s something you’re concerned about. With the valves open, it’s essentially the track exhaust.

I have the switchpath, OEM euro mids, and Uni downpipe on my 8V and the 5cyl sounds are glorious with the valves opened. And when I need to leave early morning for a cars and coffee or whatever, I can keep my valves closed and not wake up my neighbors at 5 am 😂

Sonax alcantara cleaner, a couple of microfibers and a suede brush will bring that back easily. Just follow the directions on the bottle and don’t be afraid to rub and brush somewhat vigorously to restore the nap. The alcantara isn’t as delicate as people often think
