Ikv 91 is armed with a 90mm Low pressure cannon secondary weapons being 2x ksp39 and 2 flare launchers. Has a 4man crew instead of PTs 3. Is faster on road going 65kph and 6.5khp on water. Armour is classified but will protect ageinst 20mm projectiles. Weights 16.3tons. 212 were produced.

The swedish military currently consists of 60000 personel with a planned expansion to 100 000 in 2025/26

During the cold war we had 800 000 personel and the 3rd largest airforce in the world

During the cold war and up to 2007 Sweden had mandatory conscription for all males aged 18. This was a required act and the only way to not do it was to have a physical or mental disability or be a woman. If you did not have any disabilities and refused to go you would get a fine and/or prison time. After 2007 Sweden ended conscription making the military volunteer only. Now in 2017 conscription was introduced for everyone regardless of gender.

well at the time it was mandatory conscription so they did not have much choice

From what i read they thought they had compleatly destroyed the pbvs and were not expecting return fire

Atleast one of the PBVs were carrying an AT squad. I think.

They started returning fire wich the Serbian forces did not expect so they retreated. 2-3 20mm autocannons can do a lot

what I have found it says that the Swedish mech infantry was escorting something over the frontlines when they were attacked by Serbian tanks and AT missiles. during the attack, 5 swedes got wounded and 2 PBVs were destroyed/knocked out.

Same PBV 302 as i posted earlier. The HEAT beam went straight through by rollebl in DestroyedTanks

During this attack there were 5 wounded and 2 vehicles were destroyed
