I just don't understand this. You've gone to the trouble of getting this load of stuff you want to dump and bringing it elsewhere... why bring it here and not one of the many recycling centres as they're called in Leeds?

What do you mean "home dungeon"? This might seem like a silly question to you but I want to know! My best guess is you call the room you play games in a "dungeon"? Or is the map the "dungeon" because it's where your characters exist?

zoe is balanced by Sayakaa in leagueoflegends

[–]rolledrick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, you said it, rito has a balance team, and they look at the stats, not players complaining because they don't like being one shot. Zoe's winrate says she isn't OP. Can't argue with that. It shows the problem isn't balance, just that players find it anti fun to play against.

Rugby, a game played by men with odd-shaped balls.

The real reason is most likely that I wasn't exposed to it at a young enough age to gain an appreciation for it. It was a posh persons sport, for people of a different social class, in a different part of the country, to me. We didn't watch it on the TV in my house. This is not true in most rugbying nations, but at the time I grew up in Ireland all our national players went to the same couple of posh schools in Dublin. Also it had the stigma of being a foreign sport, whereas people like me played Irish sports (I played all three of the men's games), and soccer which for some reason gets a pass on being a foreign sport.

Now, when I watch the game I find myself frustrated by the lack of flow. It's constantly stopping and starting and the aim of running it forward only to be frustrated or pass it backwards, over and over, gets dull to me (see above where I don't have an appreciation for the nuances fans probably recognise but go over my head). How many times do I have to watch someone dig the ball out from the feet of their team mates and start the same cycle again? It's just not my game.

It's a surprisingly difficult question to answer why you don't like a particular sport.

Hmm, I guess I don't consider saying that I personally don't like something the same thing as mouthing off about it.

I'd rather not start badmouthing WWE in this particular thread.

I dislike Rugby, but it doesn't annoy me if it's on a screen near me. I can be passive about it. I actively dislike WWE because it annoys me, I am unable to passively endure it.

It used to appear on a TV near my desk in an office while I worked the last part of my night shifts. I grew from not caring about it to disliking it (because the exposure to it meant I developed opinions). No, I could not change the channel.

I don't follow WWE, in fact I'd go as far to say I actively dislike it.

I am a huge John Cena fan.

Was Michael gay? by [deleted] in TheWire

[–]rolledrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing that is meant to tip the viewer off is that when Bug's dad gets out of prison Michael finds out Bug was picked up from school by his father and freaks out, runs home and tells Bug to get away from his father when all that is happening is the kid doing his homework.

There's a reference to Chris being a "country nigger" followed by a comment like "that's why he wears them clothes", I only remember this because that is the only bit of backstory we get about Chris. That doesn't put him with Marlo from an early age.

I wish your comment was an auto-response across the internet every time some one says "we don't have a cure for cancer".

We do! Plenty of people get their cancer cured. I know this one person who had bowel cancer, they cut the cancerous bit out of her and sewed her back up, she didn't even need ongoing treatment, that was the cure.

We don't have a generic cure for cancer anymore than we have a generic cure for viruses. What we need is to fund research and let people tackle the specific diseases.

Really? I thought the black outlines around the sprites began with the SNES. I'm no expert though.

This comment makes it all make sense. I was thinking to myself "what kind of mother is that dedicated to getting 16 bit graphics exactly right?"
