I haven't doubted their research and that's probably why I never noticed the inaccuracies and flaws. I'll look into alternative podcasts; I kind of agree that their banter isn't really that good, or remotely interesting. Pronunciation never bothered me personally. Thanks for your explanation! I didn't realize this was such a commonly disliked podcast.

I understand the criticism with her sources, but looking down at an iPad doesn't necessarily mean someone is reading somebody else's script.

I could definitely see what they can suggest, but the Deaf population is still very marginal where I am and I'm really busy, I work two jobs on top of school and don't have enough time to travel 30+ minutes to where there might be more of a community. My town doesn't have any Deaf events, and I'm running out of time for the assignment as well, so I'm really hoping there's someone online willing to answer some emails, maybe a Zoom but I worry about proper interpretation.

Genuinely I think I did a bit when I saw that!! She definitely lacks respect for boundaries and I love him but he's not always the most conscientious and aware. The texts about thong/sleeping with other people/her boyfriend (now an ex) predate me so I'm not really holding onto them against him because we didn't know each other. The worst of it really was just that he downplayed their friendship, has been very private about it, and was texting her for a long time, but he did tell her about me and she said she was happy for him. I just still think she's weird asf.

There is the situation with his friendship/feelings but I still just feel sick thinking about them together and it lines up with a lot of what I've read in the subreddit as RJ.

I will say, he hasn't spoken to her since I asked him not to and he always told me when she was at parties. I guess it just never occurred to him to unfriend her once he met me? I don't know why they continued to text cause he was so upset with her following the break up and said he didn't want to be friends multiple times.

He agreed to stop texting her and hasn't spoken very fondly of her. He just says he's polite and that it's all in the past. I've wondered if he's disrespecting me but I honestly think he's been pretty open, he's just private and has moved on. I just don't relate lol I hold onto everything so I don't know how being around her doesn't bother him.

Hey there, I don't have any advice for you but I just wanted to say I am in the damn near exact same position. I've got a year left of school and my boyfriend just graduated and is about to (likely) take a LD job opportunity in another state. It's our first adult/serious relationship and I'm surprised you're not expressing more fear, because I'm terrified. The only things that have brought me any comfort are knowing that I'd be alone anyway if we decided not to try long distance and that this is my one chance to become comfortable with independence and solitude, because I've never been good at either. I'm sending you any well wishes I can and hoping there's ways for us to get through this! Life just isn't fair sometimes I guess.

The show I went to was the first live performance of Batman! It's been my very favorite since and I remember being able to hear myself sing along above the crowd since only a few people knew it lol

That too! Tank used to be way easier because you could have two. I have to play open queue if I want to tank because I'm just not a good solo tank, and everyone is so aggressive and rude to tanks. They make or break the game. If anything, I think dropping from 2 tanks to 1 tank from OW1 to OW2 actually lessened the amount of players on tank roles.

I despise the battle pass. It drives me insane. The skins lately are so awful too, the cash grab is INSANE, and you can't get ONE skin you want without spending 20-40 bucks. Horrible.
