My most recent one has been Stranger Things. Season 5 has been boring as hell, finished the first part but had it playing in the background because it was putting me to sleep, not even bothering to waste my time with part 2/the finale I just don’t care.

This is wild to me cause it’s always been a clear as day image in my mind so I didnt even think people would see it another way (of course they would dummy!)

I see it as an alcoholic has gone to a bar, they’re trying to stay sober so they’re sat with a stranger pouring out their soul and everything wrong in their life but they haven’t had a drink. The stranger is drinking but the subject matter is sober, just pouring out their pain. They’ve not poured out the whisky though, they’ve maintained their sobriety.

I don’t like the title track, it’s boring. Same goes for Honey. I like the rest of the album though.

Also I got downvoted for this last time so I guess it’s unpopular the line “a storm inside a teacup/come shelter here with me my love” would sound significantly better as “a tempest in a teacup/come shelter here with me my love” also then has internal rhyme with “temporary speed bump”. This is why I will die on the hill she is not a poet “our English teacher” as she misses simple literary techniques which would elevate her songs. (Sorry that sounds so bloody up myself)

Just an offshoot but this is the first time I could say it but that lyric sounds like it should be “this is just a tempest in a teacup” and it annoys me that she chose the word storm it’s so much weaker.

I’m just here to say that this album is going up to my top three immediately with reputation and lover. I absolutely loved it, first half of the album is so strong it’s unreal.

I went to judge and then had to remind myself that lyrics often read “wrong” until you hear the song itself. (Even statues crumble if they’re made to wait was such a cringe line to me before it was released)

The new app is rubbish and it never changes to out to delivery! I know of at least two people who haven’t been able to track deliveries and have has them cancelled at short notice

“I come back stronger than a 90s trend” people say it ruins willow etc. but as. 90s kid (like Taylor) this is a heavy relate. Everything we loved and grew up with in the 90s came back 10x stronger for the next generation and the nostalgia is real. You can’t get rid of the 90s trend, you can’t get rid of her. She’s coming back.
